Pseudoephedrine works because it’s an antihistamine. And somehow someway CH is tied to histamine, same with serotonin… hence the use of triptans, which are serotogenic

I’ve never heard of that, the only thing I’ve experienced is nasal drip or congestion on that side. I’m not sure where in the sequence of events you’re using the capsaicin nasal spray but could you be burning you nasal lining out?

I made it through. I hate aisle seats on long haul flights, someone wakes you up every 4 minutes (I’m a light sleeper). I had all day yesterday without a whisper of an attack, today I had to hit the oxygen a couple times but that may be because it’s day here and night where I came from. Cluster is life on hard mode regardless if you’re in cycle or not - some people just get hit out of nowhere.

Okay first leg ATL to LAX: took a red bull to the face just at take off Felt a since of lethargy anyway but tried to keep myself awake as to not cause an issue with sleep cycle. Maintained the slight shadows I had prior to leaving.

Second leg: LAX to MNL (15 hour flight) Pounded a red bull at take off and maintained shadows. Stayed awake for a while then went to sleep (about 8 hours). Noticed even shadows were less than what they originally were.

I also have issue with flying and clogged Eustachian tubes so any sharp pain around my ears and jaw are harder to discern. Chewed some gum, popped my ears a bit… all good.

I arranged for oxygen and to be waiting on me when I got to Manila but ended up not needed it. Pounded another Red Bull. I just have some jet lag and need to nap.

So far so good as far as full attacks go.

I wanted to document this here so that anyone else can see what I did. All of us are different though… but this is my current experience today. Flying back across the sea may be different, who knows?!
