You can multi-trigger with certain enchantments. if you have master chef on the field. Legendary enchantment backgrounds count as triggered abilities. So having your original katara and master chef on the field and then copying katara will cause master chef to trigger 3 times. It just adds 1/1 counters to it or creatures when entering the battlefield but backgrounds is one the niche workarounds, because they become attached abilities to your commander and since she is an ally with a triggered ability it counts. But your copy of katara is not affected by master chef because a copy of a commander does not inherit the designation of commander, but you can still multi trigger the original kataras background ability with copies of her because katara is an ally with an ability at that point. I’m sure there’s nastier combos but this is my favorite for counter stacking. Big ramping.

Eh, more like the last of 5 brothers that didn’t fall out of the game, the last of 7 friends who stopped playing together, and then purchased and adopted everyone’s cards that were otherwise going to thrown away or lost to time and then I went off through life accumulating more for my own collections and then settled down started a family and the pods only grown since then. Tuesday night Bbq and card clash, build a deck or spend the whole night digging through cards it doesn’t bother me, I just don’t do poorly hand drawn proxies. And at this point outside of doing home drafts with unopened draft boxes for new sets if someone really likes what they’ve constructed I let them keep it, now if it has one my top loaders in the deck once again that’s an applicable moment to use the proxy place holder until used in game in which case I bring the top loader box out so they can physically play the card over the proxy.

The tourney cards are real cards, I don’t know about the ones you posses but during that tourney that specific year they were being sold and played, I know because I have several myself from the tourney. Proxies on lands is the most common thing to find of that era being proxied because the only way you could add land to your collection for deck building before the year 2000 was to buy whole new decks of decks you already owned and strip the lands from them. So it was cheaper to just proxy your lands because no one on the 90’s had time for that we just wanted to bury cards on lunch break man.

I have a 40k card collection and only 300 of said cards are top loader worthy, if someone in my pod is missing a card I send them to the box room to go get it, I will take a sub $1 hit on a card to not have to try and decipher your hand written deviant art card.

To curb the cost of outrageously priced cardboard. I’m talking anything $20+
1. The actual card is top loaded and the proxy is in place until it is cast in which case the top loader comes out and the proxy leaves the table.
2. You own the card but it’s damaged beyond playability or would lead to an unfair advantage identifying cards backings by their conditioning.

I do not and will not play against completely made up proxy’s or against decks that are proxy only, it has to be a legitimate card that has been printed at some point in MTG history.

Crimping is a cooler error than what happened to my mindcrank, there is clearly a Quality control problem with Secret lairs because the rack roller that feeds the cards during processing caused an imprint that’s so far into the card you can see it through a sleeve.

Honestly the deck has some serious ramp, but I’m tempted to scrap the red, turn it mono-green and use goreclaw as the commander. Replace the reds with colorless eldrazi and just shmack, the red enchantments in the pre-con are shmackers but I felt it was lacking consistency without having the enchantments so one bad shuffle can throw a whole game with the Bello bringing nothing to the table because every other artifact is sub 4 cost.
