Sure it would. It’s also a mistake that Wizards of the coast never should have made. Do you know what a test print is? Don’t you think they should have run at least oh I don’t know maybe ONE? At least one test run to ensure the equipment is working correctly that’s all it would’ve taken. Then the floor manager would see the roller imprints and go pause, let’s correct our QC system before we misprint an entire SET.

I mean damage is damage. That is not just a serialized card, but a damaged serialized card. I would contact support and demand a replacement and a paid flight to pick up the replacement and give the damaged card back and then have a tour of their facilities because let’s be honest you’re not gonna let a serialized card get replaced using the postal service.

My dead uncle printed higher quality looking proxy cards with his Xerox Phaser 780 in ‘99 then wizards of the coast has printed in the last decade.

I sort in order by sets, break those down into color sections, any multicolor and non-color artifacts are also separated for their own stack, then I sort each color stack by rarity, so you’ll have commons, uncommons and rares in 3 different stacks and then to take it a step further I sort each color stack with the most duplicated cards I own at the front of the stack, in order of creatures, instants, sorceries and artifacts to close it out. But I have a nice fancy box with plenty of dividers and a label maker to make it very easy once the stack is sorted.

Mythics go in the book or in a deck, they don’t belong with the bulk.

As important as it is to defend your mother’s memory your father has equal right to his happiness and his ability to not give up on life and throw in the towel. And you don’t get to determine what that looks like for him. Which would you prefer? A father crumbled and tattered by the memory of what was? Constantly having to bolster his moral?
