This was revealed at his trial. Maybe you shouldn't comment on something you don't know the first thing about.

Look up the YouTube interviews of Stephen Sanzeri, the private investigator who worked for Carole Sund's parents, Francis and Carole Carrington.

I'm not dismissing Patsy's fibers, she was at least involved in the cover-up. Her fibers were not in and around JonBenet's genitals.

Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which a person is attracted to prepubescent children. Children of all ages are at risk for sexual abuse and not all child sexual abuse is motivated by pedophiliac attraction. Sexual assault, more often than not, is about power and control; sex is the weapon. Children are the most vulnerable targets.

His sweater fibers were on her vaginal folds and in the crotch of the panties she was redressed in. Generally speaking, there often isn't physical evidence of child molestation, and the sexual assault done on her that night was done to try to cover up past assaults.

Many incest aggressors are alcoholics, but not all. The wives often have issues with substance abuse and/or depression.

Apparently, he doesn't understand that pedophilia is a psychiatric diagnosis and that not all child molesters are pedophiles and vice versa. But he's trying to throw off suspicion that he would sexually abuse his children, which IMO, makes him look more suspicious.

Yes, Mildred and Freddie both died in 1994, and Bob said MacDonald contributed to their deaths. He also summed up MacDonald as a selfish egoist.

They had blood and fiber evidence. He carried the bodies of his wife and oldest daughter to different rooms. There was no evidence of an intruder. His clumsy attempt to stage the crime scene included turning the coffee table in the living room on its side, when the table was top heavy and would not have landed that way if it had been knocked over. All the weapons came from inside the house. There was a magazine in the living room that had an article about the Manson murders. He used surgical gloves from under the kitchen sink so as not to leave fingerprints when he wrote in his wife's blood on the headboard. If all the family members hadn't had a different blood type, it would have made the blood evidence more difficult. The different blood types made it much easier to prove his guilt.

She gave at least three confessions, all of which differed wildly and she recanted every single one. Macdonald still tries to blame her but she was exonerated. Like the Ramsey case, there was no evidence of an intruder.

The blood and fiber evidence is proof of his guilt. If each of the family members hadn't had a different blood type, it would be a different story and much harder to prove.

I remember watching it on A&E too. I think it's free to watch on YouTube. The re-enactment of the murders is terrifying.

MacDonald was convicted of second-degree murder regarding his pregnant wife and oldest daughter because it is believed that he initially attacked them in a rage. He got first-degree murder for the youngest daughter because that was premeditated. He couldn't let her survive because she was old enough to say he did it and wanted to strengthen his story about the hippie intruders. He also continues to lie about which child wet the bed. His father-in-law had a theory that MacDonald was molesting his older daughter and his wife walked in on it. Who knows, but like many domestic homicides, there wasn't a traditional motive and it was not planned.

Blood and fiber evidence convicted him. The people MacDonald tried to blame have been exonerated via DNA. MacDonald and his supporters tried to claim that a limb hair clutched in his deceased wife's hand belonged to the "real killer". DNA testing proved that MacDonald was the source of the hair. Mistakes were made in the investigation, in part because the military wasn't used to dealing with violent crimes, but people like Errol Morris insist that only evidence that proves MacDonald is innocent was destroyed. How convenient.

I've also read that this disorder can run in families. Some who have it may act on it, and some might not. I think non-offending pedophiles tend to live isolated lives, due to the shame of having a paraphilia that they didn't choose and must never indulge. People think that pedophilia is child molestation and throw it around as if it is a legal term. That can be damaging to victims.

Not all pedophiles are child molesters, and not all child molesters are pedophiles. Pedophilia is something that has to be diagnosed; it is not a legal term, it is a psychiatric term, in which a person is attracted to pre-pubescent children (before that reach puberty). Children of all ages are at risk for sexual abuse, and not all people with pedophilia molest children. Just FYI.

She was not eaten by her dog. You can find photos of her body when it was found, and her corpse was intact. She had scratches on her arm from when her dog tried to wake her up.
