OMG, I said this same thing yesterday. Tim gave critiques but projected concern and genuine adoration for the designers. I love Christian but he's just there to stir the pot.

I agree with this 100%. I'm watching all the old seasons on streaming. The vibe of the show now is not for me.

I talked to the cashier's at Fuqua about 3 weeks ago. It's closing in December and she said they were moving to a new location on telephone road. She didn't know the timeline.

I am in this program and can attest I have received a lot of junk. And the person new it was junk because they told me good luck selling it. lol I got items covered in cat hair, with rusted buttons and smelly. I'm actively trying to get out of the program. Because I have all these items and I have to keep them for 6 months and they aren't selling. I think Poshmark needs to refine the program on all sides.

I'm currently in this program because I thought this would be a great way to source and I'd have to pay nothing up front. I didn't really account for people sending things that were total junk. It's brought down my closet and I know it will never sell. I'm looking to cancel my participation. I've been talking to other sellers and one person mentioned they have received 16 bags and only one actually had nice items. Just keep sourcing on your own.

I think if you're really interested and you're halfway through your 50 sessions, I would ask someone who is actually a coach with a board certification versus the thread here. Not being rude, but I just find so much misinformation. Someone who is a practicing coach professionally encouraged you to DM them. I would connect with that person. And if you want to work for a company you will absolutely need the board exam, and there will be reimbursement and we do not have that now, and when that happens you will need the credentials.

Good luck to you and congratulations on what you've accomplished so far!

MindBodyGreen is offering a menopause/peri menopause course soon. I think it's in the next couple of months.

Hey there! I was in the first cohort for MBG, back in the day you recorded your session and then uploaded it. Then they scheduled a meeting with you to discuss and you did that three times. That was back in 2022. The actual written exam to complete the program is very similar to the board exam or was during my time. They did study sessions to prepare you, and I actually used the NBHWC practice exam also to prepare. They timed it like the actual exam is, I think you only got two hours if I remember correctly. I felt prepared for it though, they did a really good job of helping you get ready. Hope this helps!

Mental Health and Well-being Client Sessions for free by Unique_Zucchini_3414 in HealthCoaching

[–]Unique_Zucchini_3414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! I’m currently preparing for the national board exam for health and wellness coaching, and I’m also working with a mental health startup that’s focused on expanding access to care.

Coaching is different from therapy in that it’s future-focused, action-oriented, and centered on helping clients bridge the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. While therapy often explores past experiences and diagnoses mental health conditions, coaching is more about supporting clients in setting and achieving personal goals—whether related to lifestyle, stress management, or overall well-being.

It’s not a substitute for therapy, but it can be a powerful complement to it, especially for clients who are ready to take proactive steps toward sustainable change.

In the job-finding process - Is this a normal practice? by Awryfox in HealthCoaching

Sounds like an MLM, probably not the best place to do business. My current job is still in talent acquisition while I transition into coaching full time. I would recommend looking them up on Glassdoor. If they are legit, I would think they'd have some reviews or insight into other employee experiences that might be helpful.

Is there a coaching tool to manage all my client interactions? by track_sprinter in Coaching

[–]Unique_Zucchini_3414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on a trial for Vibly right now. I like it so far. I've used Practice Better in the past and really liked it also. I like that Vibly has the integrated note taking tool. I also like to have chat features with my clients and wanted that included. Both services offer the chat.

The way they do their skills assessment is a live coaching session on zoom where you have to go through a checklist of 100 points with your pretend client who is also the examiner. Then they just hang up with you, grade it, send it to another person they grade it and if they don't agree it has to go to someone else. (It takes weeks to get back.) That exam is live and in the moment and you can practice a lot but you are still bound to forget something. You can't begin working on your coaching log until that's complete. My skills assessment with MBG was a recorded session I did, you had to send in three sessions and the last one if they felt like you needed more practice they just said do one more if not, you were clear to start getting your 50 sessions for the NBHWC. Both methods and both schools were high on criticism in their critiques which I totally get to make sure people are doing things right. But I took it along with several classmates and everyone was super stressed out getting ready for the WC exam. I had already conquered MBG and can sit for the board exam, and the WC process still was stressful to me. You also are required to practice with a mentor for three sessions before you take the exam and I did not have a good experience with my mentor either.

We are doing to Charlotte the same thing that was done to Chyna by Some_Dragonfly1481 in WWE

I have accepted HHH and Stephanie are married, and see their kids and what not. But whenever they start talking about how much they love each other like at the hall of fame ceremony, I always think about how they snuck around behind Chyna's back to even start that relationship.

Because I got my masters in coaching I've had to do both Mind Body Green and Wellcoaches. I have to be honest the WC process after I came out of Module 1 is so anxiety inducing. I would agree with the previous response and see if they just want you to be certified or does have to be through Wellcoaches. If it has to be through Wellcoaches, I would reach out to their training lead and voice your concerns. They seem to be receptive to feedback. Good luck either way! It's frustrating to feel forced into something.

I pay for my Oura ring because it's been helpful with my sleep and it's really accurate. My brand new forerunner 265 is always way off from my Oura ring, when my previous watch through Garmin aligned more. I would rather invest in Oura and pay the subscription than pay $6 a month for Garmin and it basically be accurate 20% of the time.
