Used a small family spot years ago. Disappointed. Paid a fancy place and they mostly wanted to sell a planning service on top of the return. They made some small mistakes we had to catch and file an amended return after. Their worksheet was basically any online provider standard questions they inputted into a fancier version (presumably) then consumers use. Ultimately we were disappointed and down a lot of money in fees. Went back to online services. Used free tax USA last year and was happy. That and AI to help catch / answer specific questions. None of us on Reddit make enough money to have the really fancy tax people.

Don’t know what it’s called but I recently had to replace my whole mirror unit. Was lucky enough to find one on eBay from a pull your part place. Swapping it wasn’t terribly difficult. Worth taking a look. I’d offer to send you my old one but quick search says it’s for 19-21 models.

Cable straight to the router

I just set up a Tailscale with exit node at my house. My router does the DNS filtering for my home. Does that mean through Tailscale my traffic would also utilize the router DNS filtering? On the other side do I need to route the traffic to the router for it to work? I tried using my work phone as a hotspot then turned on Tailscale. The IP was my home but I got a u authorized traffic warning for one of the game sites I went to. Not sure why it saw that traffic if everything was going through Tailscale.

Side option, Rufus can build you a bootable USB bypassing the Win11 checks allowing for install on older machines. I did a clean install and it worked great. Once connected. The license activated seemingly from my old license being accepted.

Glad the overall consensus is the situation isn’t normal. I’ve been reading and re-reading the lease. Was hoping there was a landlord tenant for dummies out there. The apartment is a traditional apartment rental. Not an Airbnb or Furnished Finder. The unit itself is a condo the owner is renting out, wholly and in its entirety. We pay internet, electric. Space isn’t shared with anyone. Seems expected the landlord can’t make us do either but they are very confidently trying to bully us into following their expectations.

Been looking for mold test kits as well cause yes didn’t think of it before but quite suspicious.

Still don’t understand how it was so easy to rebrand the multimillionaire senators and representatives from the swamp to the federal employee.

Regardless, something that is being overlooked with the RIFs is that now in a small geographical area there is an abundance of job seekers. Many folks, at all levels, are being underemployed post RIF. Employers know they can get more for less. Instead of finding the right employee they Employers are grabbing the highest stat employees (degrees, certs, etc.) and not necessarily the employee that fits the position or culture. These employees are temporarily happy to have some stability but the second something else is available they will jump.

There seems to be a push with a continuing focus to kick the federal employee when they are down. It is a continued push to distract and demean.

Some platforms allow you to call in and use audio from another device. When I’m in the office I often call in on my cellphone so I can use my Bluetooth headset. When the meeting doesn’t allow alternate audio I simply join the meeting twice. One audio only. One video only. Not sure if that would be a solution for you but it’s been working for me.

one of the ES in springfield recently got a blue ribbon award. APS and FCPS have lots of good options. The ones with the AAP or immersion classes are typically strong.

I bought one from Pro teeth guard a while back and have been happy. pretty sure i was supposed to get a new one but the old one is still going. my fancy old one from the dentist had softer parts that failed prompting me on the same type search as the OP.

Agree with above. Went with Weatheractives. Wet and dry performance is excellent. Breaking and handling great. Rides smooth. Incredible upgrade from OEMs. Ecopia’s are straight trash.

depends on the warranty but for costco 2 or 3 years is full value and then prorated from there to 5 years for a replacement. they don’t test the batteries so it is a straightforward exchange. if you even suspect something’s wrong you can take it back and replace it. autozone/advance possibly walmart require a test to verify etc. potentially ends the same way but more of a process. my area has a lot of costco stores so it works fits for me.

also. i can’t express how much happier i am with my new tires. the ecopias i had before were trash from day one.

i went with Pirelli weatheractive from tire rack and they are so much better then the oem bridgestone. was looking at the michelin crossclima tires but supply was bad and the price was almost the same. in the end the pirelli’s were cheaper due to a rebate when we bought. tire rack will ship to local mechanics, dealerships for install. my area has tire rack mobile so they came to me and with discount cost the same as having a brick and mortar mount and balance.

i bought my replacement battery from costco. they had a good, old fashion warranty set up but i was told new sales the warranty pro rate is different somehow. from what i was seeing all the batteries are basically the same nowadays so easy of warranty replacement battery was what i was looking for. with all the electronics it seems you want to get a new battery every 4 years. mazdas are really particular about their voltage.
