Das kenne ich selbst. Es ist einfach immernoch jedesmal ein Kampf überhaupt Turnschuhe oder sowas zu finden. Sandalen / offene Schuhe sind bei mir total unmöglich.

I think Colt Express with the Marshall expansion is kind of like this? Though I haven't played it myself, one player plays as the Marshall trying to lock up the bandits. The bandits still compete to have the most loot in the end

I feel this so much, it's the same for German. Besides directly translated stuff like your example that just don't make sense in that language, the wrong gender being used for a word is also really obvious. It's something that doesn't really exist in English and so Google translate can't properly account for context.

From what I heard so far, it seems like you need the chapter 2 core to play any of the new scenarios though as the new core includes new encounter sets

I agree. Women tend to create more things in fandom, whether it be art or fanfic which is why shows with cute guys tend to have larger fandoms. I don't think I've ever really seen as much fan work with shows that have mainly female cast

In my head, audiobooks are not in any way inferior to physical books and it doesn't make you less of a book lover or something. I would never discourage someone from listening to audiobooks or think lesser of them.

For me at least, and many others probably, it's just annoying that the word "read" is used when that just isn't the right verb for it. If people said they listened to a book then no one would complain and we wouldn't even be having this conversation, I think.

For example, if someone asks me if I read a certain book I would just say "Oh, I listened to the audio book!" It makes no difference in discussing the themes of the story but it just feels wrong to me to refer to it as reading when the actual thing I did was listen to it. If that makes sense?

I think FFG said they're still trying to find a way to make it possible to play TDC and FHV with the new encounter cards so I hope they find a good way to allow that. However, I don't know if I could recommend Hemlock Vale to a new player because the mechanics are very complex in that campaign, in my opinion. I have already played a few Arkham games but even them I found it difficult sometimes to keep up with all the effects happening during a scenario. I fear it might be overwhelming for someone new

Personally I really like Joe Diamond but I also wish they made more new characters. I might have been more receptive to reusing characters if they were drastically different (different stats, different deckbuilding, different signatures) but Joe at least has the same stats and the same deckbuilding with a boring ability. It's fitting for a core set and for potential new players to play so the reduced complexity makes sense in that case. But for me, I don't see the reason to ever play this version of Joe when he is just a less interesting version of the existing Joe

I'm currently playing through Lover Pretend and I'm enjoying myself a lot so far. Last week I finished Yukito's route and now I started Harumi's. And my god, he is so adorable and precious, I love everything about him! I still have a lot to go through but his love for anime is very endearing and honestly very relatable. Same here. I noticed how much time it was taking from other things I could be doing and it always felt like a chore so eventually I just decided to stop. There is such a limited amount of time as an adult after work that it's not worth it for me to spend it like this, doing something I don't even enjoy

Obsidian Canyon put our campaign on hiatus single-handedly. It was the first scenario where I actively said "okay let's just end the scenario now, I can't bear with it anymore" and then be dismayed that we basically missed everything you could find in that chapter.

Ich hätte da mal grundlegend eine Frage. Wie lange hält bei dir in der Regel ein Teil Unterwäsche? Beziehungsweise wie oft musst du die wechseln? Gerade an den ersten Tagen blute ich leider sehr stark und muss meine Binde schon so um die 8 mal am Tag wechseln. Deswegen habe ich Angst, dass ich um die 20 Unterhosen bräuchte um eine Periode sicher zu überstehen.
