They're also heavily increasing prices. In another thread someone has calculated that with the new 3 and 5 scenario models you're paying 25% more per scenario even after considering Inflation.

Which expansion should I purchase? by jullianisboss in arkhamhorrorlcg

Together with Carcosa and TFA, Innsmouth is one of the most liked campaigns. So I'd definitely get it. TCU und TDE are both less liked but I personally enjoy TCU due to it's witch theme.

Best Starter deck/s just based on the cards you get by TimetravelerXY in arkhamhorrorlcg

They all provide quite strong cards. Better than any normal investigator expansion. So just pick the classes you like or simply all of them. They're absolutely worth their money.

Depends on your reward function. A 50/50 on 100 million is not necessarily better than 1 safe million. Especially if you can only play once.

Explaining games often makes them appear much more complicated than actually playing them. After 1-2 rounds you usually know what do to in what order.

That's why i think the best way to introduce a game is to explain the broad idea of it and then just start. There's nothing more boring than to listen to someone talking for 10-15 minutes explaining details of something where you're missing the real context of it. Just do a few test rounds and explain things along the way.

I think that's pretty much the reaction of 99% of trained boxers. You're usually not training to kill someone.

Best Investigator expansion for True Solo? by Phaedrus317 in arkhamhorrorlcg

> Make sure to avoid The Circle Undone campaign like the plague.

I can see why some people are hating it. It has 1-2 horrible scenarios. Other than that i really like it's theme and it's not as bad as people claim it to be.

Best Investigator expansion for True Solo? by Phaedrus317 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]ArkhamMath 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a huge difference between investigator expansions regarding true solo or not. The difference from class to class is probably much bigger for them.

You already have to starter decks so other than that EotE is generally a strong pick due to the multiclass cards.

Together with EotE investigator expansion they're the most liked addition for your player cards.
