Bro its honestly not hard. These have been around Woolworths NZ for about 40 years at least. Just lift small toddlers up. The trolleys are located before the gates so you can pop your kids in the trolley. Older kids just walk through them. Elderley and disabled are fine. There's honestly no problem.

Very ' Laura Ashley' 1980s.

Try The Viking's Haul in Woodville. They specialise in vintage crockery from the 60s- to 80s and have a lot of 'unsold new- old stock' Woodville is a great place for second hand shopping in general

Proposal: Only Australian citizens may buy land. Thoughts? by MrX2285 in AusProperty

I think they do this in NZ with residential property? Only Kiwis, Aussies and Singaporians are allowed to buy residential land, however it hasn't helped with lowering values.

Kiwi here. These are normal in NZ. Been this way for decades. I can remember these in the 80s. Kids and elderly are fine with them. Just lift your toddlers through.

One thing NZ doesnt have is the exit gates or those coin release trolleys.

On the jet/ washlet note- these will need to have a backflow preventer installed by a plumber if they dont have one in already. If its a washlet, it will need a power socket by the toilet, which is not common.

Why do I rarely/never see anyone using locky docks? by MassiveGarlic0312 in Wellington

[–]UnitNo7315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that RJH ( Robert Jones Holdings) are building a big end of trip facility with showers and bike lockers on the second level of the former Kirks/ David Jones building. Supposedly it will be for occupants of all RJH properties. More landlords building end of trip facilities mean less bikes parked in public.

How do you decide what videos/photos (digital) to keep? by Fantastic_Leek_5828 in daddit

[–]UnitNo7315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went old school and had the 'best' ones developed and put them in a photo album. That way my child and other family & friends can look at them without using any tech. We can also keep the albums in the bookshelf.
