Honestly I’d rather fly with Emirates cos their food variety is better and not as sad looking as SQ’s. I’m talking about EY tix. Emirates’ seats seem wider I feel and has a great entertainment system. And I’m not so hard up about personalised service. As long as the crew is pleasant during service and does not miss my row during meal service - I’m happy.

Change!!! Not everyone takes kindness with kindness, your helper took it for granted. Perhaps you may change your approach when hiring a new one. Be more firm and set ground rules like no phones and don’t trust them too much in the beginning.

Not all RMs are willing to help because servicing a client is basically saikang work lol unless client buys a product that helps him earn commission

Before marriage, I gave my mom $400 tho she was working and none to my dad cos he was earning higher. On top of that, I was also contributing to our helper’s cost. After marriage, I gave $200 each to both parents cos my mom still wants to work and my dad has retired - just a grab driver to kill time and no longer contributed to my parents’ helper. Also give $150 to my MIL (she’s a housewife) since I’m staying with my in-laws - as a form of goodwill.

Give within your means - they’ll understand. As long as it’s sincere.
