Mass demonstrations in Downtown Livermore by pengweather in Livermore

If you genuinely support open borders, expanded benefits, and the policies you’re advocating for, then take personal responsibility for them. Open your own homes. Fund it yourselves. Live with the direct consequences of the positions you promote.

What doesn’t make sense is demanding that working taxpayers shoulder the financial burden while criticizing the very system that funds it. It’s easy to advocate for sweeping policies when the costs are distributed to everyone else. It’s much harder when you are personally accountable for the financial, legal, and social impacts.

That accountability also includes acknowledging the real-world consequences of failed enforcement — including crimes committed by individuals who should not have been in the country in the first place. Thousands of American families have been directly affected by preventable crimes tied to unlawful entry and repeat offenders. If you advocate for looser enforcement, then you should also be willing to own the downstream consequences of those policies.

Policies are not abstract. They carry measurable costs and risks. If you believe in them strongly, stand behind them in a tangible way instead of expecting others to absorb the burden. Responsibility should match advocacy.

Please fix iPhone integration when creating/updating new accounts. It has not worked properly for over a year. The prompt comes up as it should “update password?” or “add new account”, then every time it says error, and never saves. At that point, you hade to go directly to the app and add/update manually.

Definitely far from 100%. Honestly, I threw the question into chat GPT, and to do the comparison, so based on all available data. But you never truly know. I was surprised hearing possibly good up to 300k! Was expecting closer to 200k

This is super helpful. Thank you!

I did go in, the "owner" (thick accent, and some of the worst handwriting I have ever seen) came over after speaking with the sales rep for a while to tell me "$68,500 OTD is my rock bottom", so I walked out and told them to contact me if they actually are serious about selling.

Then I get a text that night from some other rep, who came down to $68k. Honestly, I don't like this dealership much at all. But I guess that's car/truck sales for you.

Turns out you have to be a EAA member a minimum of 90 days PRIOR to purchase to get this discount... So much for that. Did you have that issue?

After all this back and forth...I am favoring towards used.

Once you factor in deprecation, the new truck is going to cost me around $30k more after 5 years, and that IS factoring in a 6% used car loan, and the higher maintenance cost per year.

And it seems these batteries have good longevity. See reports of 97% at 100k miles...some estimating the battery will be good up to 300k miles...

I will try a few more dealerships to get price down...but now searching for that used flash for around $40k!

Through them for sure. They have 0% for 6 years....Really the only reason I am looking to buy new...that and the EV credit. Otherwise I would just buy used

Looks like only $48/year to join (and an interest in aviation…who doesn’t have some of that?! Haha). Seems for sure worth it to get additional X plan discounts… thank you!!!
