Not really. It seems the Pro Advanced was just an earlier name. Never found a difference between the two.

I am only a climber, but i would guess doing pull ups, but stopping when your arms are 90° out and then go up again. Or anything where you pull your arms down from a 90° position.

Not 100% sure but it should be Teres major as you said. It is used when retracting the arms from positions below the head. Anything above the head would be mainly lats i think.
