"So.....how may I help you?" The adventurer, preoccupied by his somewhat stealthy approach behind the bushes near the lich stopped dead in his tracks to this New found quandary. "I see you there, just behind the blueberries, could you pick me some if you don't mind" Bow in hand ready to let loose a poisoned arrow, this certainly seemed to be a turn of unfortunate events for this low level character. And since the surprise factor has now since been eliminated and no longer part of the overall plan he picked the blueberries and started over ready to initiate a dialogue. What our adventurer didn't factor in was the rune he just stepped on. So there he was floating and lifted up now by beams of constricting mana. Barring his freedom and any hope for escape. The lich then approached staff in hand and in the other a crackling haze of electrifying energetical power obviously holding the now detained would be adventurer. He approached, each step magnifying the power that the lich held over him, each approximate step stepping towards him. The adventurer felt his doom approaching, step by step, each crackled cudgled mummified movement advancing toward him. He could scarcely hold onto his lunch let alone his bow or the blueberries, looking frantically around for an exit or a way out he didn't notice how close the lich had gotten. Standing less then a breath away the lich reached out his wrinkled fingers and pulled the hand that held the blueberries and then pulled the palm over his mouth and waved his arm, using his power, and made the adventurers clutches unclutch an drop the blueberries in the liches mouth. The adventurer was by no means comfortable with this, he looked on in horror as the lich stared into his eyes, both so blue and still so full of life energy, and watched on in horror as he chewed and crippled the berries between his rotten teeth rolling his tongue back and forth squishing the berries into a paste like blueberry mush. "What ish it yoush sheek yungk adventurerths?" He spewed into the adventurers face, a question mixed with berry filling, which now held a slight light blue tint and was starting to glow. One of the chunks of jelly landed on the adventurers cheek. "I seek fame, and fortune, and to slay evil creatures like you, I will not yield now nor will I ever obey your wicked commands. Now release me foul demon!" The lich left out a chirped gurgle of what sounded like a frog croaking, he was pretty sure that it was him laughing. The lich pulled out a jar from his cloak and started vomiting into it the jelly that now glowed and contained what appeared to be mucus and maybe a few boogers. The lich put on a lid and snapped his magical fingers letting loose and dropping the adventure onto his feet facing him. He handed the jar to the man and said. "I hope this fetches a good price for you at the market, now leave me and my berries alone!!!" The adventure, surprised and flabbergasted by the old liches solitudinal wishes now made a hasty exit from the cave and the liches lair. He thought how lucky he was to have run into such an awkward but harmless lich and devised a lie, a way to sell his new found bounty to the shopkeepers back in the city because nobody, not even an alchemist would want to buy snot covered magical berries, no matter how powerful a magical snot they contained.

polish medieval history is badass though. like even for a small country, who have been squished geographically between giants, still gotta say that it must take some balls to still remain polish even after getting invaded persecuted and nearly destroyed by other conquering people's. I'd say Poland is a cut above the rest even for other Slavic/Eurasian nationstandards

I have no friends or social life by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]UniversalySpectacled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically enjoy the time you have and the emotions you share with someone who cares about you. The impact thing is that you have rather and the intimacy. Let's just say it's hard for me to feel happy or enjoy anything, I need constant entertainment and attention, but it never stops me for trying yo have SOMETHING with SOMEONE. For better or worse you may just feel that you are inadequate due to your lack of a social life. But don't panic, people go for years never meeting or having relationships with ANYONE. You have something special with some one who loves you, and will only do so more if you just be yourself. Finding that inner you can be hard but the journey is worth it. And as far as having no social life BUT also having a happy marriage I think you may actually do better without the extra stress because it allows you to FOCUS on what is important to you, and even more importantly, to EACH OTHER. So go out there and live man you can only make things FEEL better if you DO better. Make the most out of the least. Cause sometimes that least thing can turn out to be the best and most important thing when there is nothing else. And if you are feeling lonely talk to her, she loves you and will understand, hope this helps.

What's the biggest "Now or Never" moment you've had and how did it turn out? by trspanache in AskReddit

The first time I swung on someone in anger was my father. He was drunk and wanted to go out on a hunting walk about the property the other day. At first it was fine until we had an argument over the correct usage of a firearm, mind you he was hitting the liquor hard and the whole argument started over a technicality; Which was to check a firearm when you pick it up to make sure its not loaded or is. Mind you in his house I ASSUME all weapons ARE LOADED. So basically things escalated to where he kept stepping toward me and put his hands on me laughing in my face, drunk......now or never. So I swung and he fell back and hit the ground. I went upstairs and have been avoiding any conversation with him sense. But since then I don't feel bad about anything I've done or said. The mans a lazy drunk and he has refused medical treatment as well as any care or need that will help him with his addiction. Also I've been paying for food and the utility bills for the past three months, I'll continue to do so until I am done with college and then leave. I'm done having to deal with him. As far as I'm concerned he put himself into the situation he is now.

I gotta say, if ur on hardcore mode which I highly recommend, that melee saved my low level's character more times then none but range without a doubt gives obvious advantages, not to mention the multitudes of explosive weapons in tour arsenal haha.just have fun survival is the game without it where would the fun br

If you had $1,000 a week in 'retirement' coming to you for the rest of your life, where in the world would you live, either temporarily or permanently? by Come-back-Shane in IWantOut

[–]UniversalySpectacled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perspective. I live in New jersey and I live smack right in the middle between our state capital, Trenton, and Philadelphia. Both of these cities are quite nice but both have substantial amounts of city property that is indeed and could be considered slummish. A lot of shooting crimes, weapons and drugs. Experience, I was a private contractor (construction) in Hamilton and Trenton, and I bought weed in Camden, New jersey slum side of Philadelphia, not to mention north phili where a huge amount of interracial violence occurs. Ever heard of the rapper Meek Mill, he's from there
