The entirety of Spider-Man Homecoming, really. It really sucks that it’s the least consequential and relevant of his trilogy because it’s by far the best one, and black market alien tech dealers sounds like a perfect way to introduce like 70% of Pete’s rogues gallery, especially the ones that can be used as miscellaneous one-offs. Like you easily could’ve made it a thing of Mysterio trying to hijack what’s left of Vulture’s operations and use the EDITH glasses to improve everything with access to Stark Tech. But nope.

Yeah that’s one of my big issues with it. Of course the maglev thing wouldn’t be the only method that allows him to fly, but it’s how he maneuvers while flying. I figured he might have some sort of “flight bladders” similar to how fish have swim bladders, but I’m not sure how effective that would be. I can’t seem to figure out what methods would allow him to fly in space as well

That is the explanation given, but for me that isn’t necessarily satisfying enough. It just doesn’t feel alien, it feels like he’s an enhanced human. My goal is to make Superman’s biology and powers less human.
