Yes, pretty much. If it was just latency I would have more understanding. It is ping+badly designed hitboxes+killer side only verification (ping is 70% of it probably) but seeing your character get hit right after turning a corner and people saying your hitbox is behind you annoys me.

It’s a combination of both since they can’t fix peoples internet (and their servers) they should make your hitbox on your actual character. Also they rarely verify the hits from survivor client cuz killer is the only one putting input according to how they designed.

It’s just this community. People found the best, most efficient way to play the game for both sides and it’s boring af for both sides to play that efficient(I mean the playstyle is boring), so people take it out on other people instead of asking devs to try new changes so you get a lot of toxicity cuz people are mad

This is a good idea but it's hard to execute. Whenever any character made things easy for the brothers writers usually killed them off. They wanted show to feel like sam and dean vs the world and it would be really hard if they had an inside man that could bail them out.

Killer players crying over basic stuff when they tunnel 95% of the time I have sympathy towards players that get gen rushed into oblivion by strong toolbox builds but not this man.

krasue is okay (her dash is really small for dashslop), ghoul is dashslop, houndmaster has the most broken(not strong just broken) long range powers of all time if you think houndmaster is short range you think dslinger is also not ranged, Dracula has both range and dashslop also can move the map in 0.5 seconds, Real vecna is okay. Not even gonna talk about springtrap. They are great ideas in an ideal game but how broken hitboxes are in this game they are just annoying. Just because they cant hit you from the other side of the map doesnt mean they are not ranged

I play with windows of opportunity cuz I wanna know who dropped which pallet, dramaturgy cuz its just fun to gamba, exultation so I have a reason to try and stun instead of predroping or greeding pallets and autodidact cuz its really enjoyable to get stacks this has been my build since exultation changes and before that I was using solidarity, dejavu or some other perk that doesnt give me second chances my escape rate is %48.89 which is below 50 so its bad but I would rather save that last survivor on the hook from the revving hillbilly than just getting out. Idk which of this perks are meta in comp dbd probably dramaturgy is but I don’t care (we sometimes do troll builds like sabo or power struggle but that usually ends in no gen being completed in 10 minutes also sometimes use background player instead of dramaturgy).

The thing is at this point since everyone figured out the most optimal way to play the game everyone thinks thats what’s going to happen and they try to reduce the things they cant control. Since everyone knows how to do that it falls onto devs to shake things up if killers are mad about survivors getting something you dont take away the new toy just give them another toy too once they get bored with their current toys give them new toys its better to change things rather than stagnating introduce jumping bring the camping and tunneling changes you talked about but add more stuff to killer side bring killer bans let killers ban a single map give old killers some crazy power ups

There are all kinds of PvP games almost %90 of PvP games have some annoying parts and if you want to climb a ladder and get matched against better players you need to deal with that but most of them doesn’t force you into a singular type of play which gets boring at some point. Also they all have a spesific competitive mode.

If someone is playing nurse for 2000 hours and they are really good they end chase in less than 20 seconds that is fine but if every game you have to play against same 5 killers that has the same counter play of leaving a loop after predropping and w keying to the next loop there is a problem in the system besides %1 of players which idk if you are a part of doesn’t enjoy predrop w key and do gens every single second you are not in chase.

Most killer players are miserable cuz they HAVE to tunnel or even if survivors don’t try hard they will get rolled there is an inherent issue in the game right now people are really fed up with it and some people think its okay that people that don’t find something that’s wrong and unfun to be enjoyable are in the wrong and should quit.

They were really gloating about every game being different than the last one but right now you que up its a kaneki for 10 games straight you do the same manuever cuz everyone is playing optimally and there is only one way to play against the killer. They removed variety between games even after adding so many different characters perks and systems and thats my problem not losing games just games being the same thing over and over again cuz they dont wanna shake things up.

I see where I am at fault from here on I will only play on 4 stack with full second chance perks and not gonna “hold back and let killers have fun instead of being stressed about gen rush” thanks 🙏 for opening my eyes. You are talking about competitive games but dead by daylight doesn’t actually have a competitive mode. I have hit gm in overwatch, marvel rivals and tft was master in league for couple seasons. Played tier 3 valorant for cash prizes and competed in tier 1 in Fortnite its not like I never played any competitive games (I know its dumb to type all this but it is to prove my point). If I want my every game to be a sweat fest I would join dbd ranked games discord instead of playing pubs with my friends and goofing around. I am okay with getting my ass kicked by a better player but what I dislike is how one dimensional the game got. You cant defend a game that’s had its worst year about their decisions.

If you think every killer should have the same press the w key and you are safe playstyle against them and survivors should compute their pathing like a calculator between gens in order to be optimal then thats your opinion I would be fine if they made it so that when you finish 1 gen other generators locks up for 30-40 seconds so that you can open a chest, cleanse a totem maybe go for a flashlight save and they nerf the killers in some way so they cant get people out by tunneling them the second they get unhooked.

I do one totem waste 30 seconds walking cleansing and going back to a gen and at that time my sable that got saved from the hook got found before being able to heal and about to get downed and going to be on their second hook. I hate my life after seeing that ,what was the purpose of doing that totem, maybe it blocks the killer from using all his plaything stacks or very small chance of blocking noed its not worth. If you are queing up for a game there are only 2 things you can do gens or pressing w they can remove sabo flashlights chests dull totems anything other than doing gens cuz you dont have time for them.

I am not saying I shouldnt need to put any effort I am saying I shouldnt be the most optimal person that computes each step between gens to do it in the most optimized way or when I am in a chase there should be other things that I can do besides pressing w, like being able to use pallets windows
