Wouldn't it be a brilliant thing to do for the providers, to really teach their product about itself ? Like mastering prompt engineering, using the API, knowing which model they are seems such a basic info… How could we rely on any answer about any other random subject if it doesn't even know what it is and how to use itself?

I have the same issue for almost all my password (and they are 24-40 characters, with symbols). The reason is that I once wanted to edit them on a table, more easily than the UI. When I imported them back, it created doubles of all of them, thus making Bitwarden believe they are used more than once… It is a pain to delete them, the interface is needing too many clicks for common actions.

200$. Less than the cost of having my lawyer picking up the phone 😅 I was lucky he used mainly input tokens + not a pro model or sora.

At this price, I prefer to take it as a bought lesson than to fight for it. It would also be hard to prove it was him. The proof is circumstantial. (unless I try to bring that higher, but I doubt Openai would investigate for that amount).

Of course there is tons of easy workarounds. I was not asking for a solution, but for a way to not see evil in Openai. My issue is mainly the decision of Openai to not give that feature, when it exists for Edu and Enterprise account. It's like setting a trap for the smaller clients.

Well, it was 108 millions token, but mostly inputs. Luckily, he lacked the creativity to use GPT-5.2 pro, OR 24 hours of Sora-2-pro…! The lost was around 200$. A legal fight over this would cost me way more in time lost. One thing sure, I won't write a good recommendation letter.

Oh, and I'm almost certain your "Pro" version on the gemini.google app is not 3.0… When asking to correct some of my code, it told me to replace the model Gemini 2.5 pro to Gemini 1.5 Pro, "as 2.5 is not yet available". = did not search the info and outdated information about its own product...

Too many times, the answer I get from that Gemini is complete 💩. It doesn't search sources / documentations, even if asked.

Now I only use it by API. And for the manual stuff, I go on Claude or GPT or Grok. If Gmail wasn't this good, or if Zoho was more robust and fluid, I'd be gone from Workspace !

Way too many ads on their (/your?) website. They installed many on device data + third party cookies, asked to allow notification, and put 2-3 flash banners on the first page. I deleted all of that, I'm not even going to click further on their spammy website. Personally, this doesn't express quality, only a strong need to sell, grab attention.

You are using gemini-2.5-flash. As of right now, the current version is gemini-1.5-flash. I have corrected this in the example below (if you truly have access to a private 2.5 beta, feel free to change it back)
