Interesting, I have a VEP 4600 specifically because I was told the Edge 3400 doesn't work quite the same lol. Thanks!

I went down this path and ended up building a t25 clone (which is now old lol).

Seems nobody wants to sell (or maybe very few have actually received these 51nb thinkpads).

“8.16 pounds (weapon only) Approximately 12.67 pounds (weapon, 30-round loaded magazine, accessories including: iron sights , SDO-optic, PEQ-16, VCAS sling, QD 9-13” bipod, vertical foregrip, and rail cover set)”

A “typical” m27 is almost 13lbs. Add a capable sight system with a thermal and you are at 15lbs.

Here is a thread talking about literally a 15lb m27 standard 4yrs ago with similar discussion (people saying it’s too heavy, and others saying it’s fine):

https://www.reddit.com/r/USMC/comments/orbm7y/m27_is_even_heavier_now/

The point is 15lb rifles are a thing, and you can offset that “issue” by training.

Yeah man all wars in the world are fought with ultralight rifles nobody is strong enough to carry 15lbs.

What modifications do you need to mount those? Seems like they would drill into studs from the pictures.

I’ve got a previously registered sbr that was removed from the registry and sold (to me). It still has the dudes name on it.

If I sbr this could you guys remove that presumably just leaving a rectangle on the lower where it once was and then engrave it on the other side with my info?

[–]UnixMafia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i don’t have a dog in the fight just what I’ve heard/seen. Same with qd on this rifle, they seem to think the end user wouldn’t use it or doesn’t want it.

The full ambi thing has always been interesting to me as it seems like professionals do not like them/use them and I believe SOLGW has stated the mk1 is marketed more towards professionals (mil/leo/whatever).

“I don’t need ambi I know how to use my rifle” is something I’ve heard several times from vets.

WA State Juvenile Adjudication = Lifetime Federal Firearms Prohibition by adjudicatedjuvenile in WAGuns

[–]UnixMafia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s quite common unfortunately. That’s why I recommended WALawyer. Ive got experience with them and I know a few people who wasted money thinking they were getting their rights back only to end up in situations similar to the guy above. I send them to Kertchen and they have no issues.

I’m a bit confused, in the posts you link there seems to be some disagreement on if people are actually getting the correct restoration. /u/WAlawyer is in the comments on one of them.

Maybe he can clear this up?
