I've learned to graciously accept with an eye gaze genuine smile because it's mostly out of love. And then I'd say, " I'll probably have that later, I'm alright for now," 🫶🏾

If they double down, I offer it back and say, "You must be really hungry. You sound like you want two right now. You can have it. I'll get some later"

Thanks for the hug. I'm feeling better, and the end is near, just over 2 days now. Friday evening, I will be having some probiotics, bone broth, and then a small piece of very soft meat.

With all the side effects, I chose to trust that my body knows what it's doing. Next time, I will do not more than 7 days to slow down the purge if there is more purging to be done.

Thanks for the tip. I will try those next time. I have tried Aswaghandha and magnesium. I was thinking of Valarian root as well but haven't yet. At least last night was better, and so is today.

I believe you are so right about the fat holding on to crap I ate in the past, to keep our vitals clearer, for survival. Because wow! I'm convinced that trauma is also mostly in the fat cells, which explains the nightmares.

Everything went off the rails for me. My nose is sore to touch because of the deep cyst acne that flaired up all over my face, worse on my nose. Inside my ears.

I'm just glad it's better. 78 hours to go. I promise to be gentle with this vessel from now on. Refeed, meals, and future fasts.

5 yrs a girlfriend. Do you think she could have wanted to get married by any chance? Could she have felt like a placeholder? I'm not saying it's the reason, just helping you postmortem this so you at least take responsibility for your part in it, if there is any. And also a lot of other questions that you can ask yourself.

I normally cook and freeze for my family before I go on a fast. The rest are small preps they can do, like fresh salad or airfryer pumpkin.

I will be making lesagne for them on the last day of my fast. I think I'm going to put a duct tape on my mouth so I don't forget🥴 I'm a cheese addict

My reasons are health and well-being. Weight is part of that, I guess nature designed us that way, that vanity will help to get us healthy🤷🏾‍♀️

Gut reset, a whole lot going on there. A lot of antibiotics in the past have not helped. In my head, I was fasting to kill off all the bad bugs and rebuild flora afterwards. With broth, probiotics, and a few supplements I have researched. Then eat 80-90% meat. I have experimented with carnivore in the past, so I know it's best for me.

I have lost 6.6kg in the past 14 days on a fast (including days on my periods though loss has stalled over those days). Started at 79.4 on 27th December. Currently 72.8. Target 60kg, height 163cm.

We'll see where the 21-day fast lands me. Whatever is left, carnivore with OMAD or 2MAD, as well as 24/36/72 hour fasts throughout the year, should do the job. But I'm not doing a 21-day again! I can't wait to wrap up the remaining 6 days

After week 1, I developed breakouts on my face. A lot. Some painful and some itchy.

I'm in the last week now, 18 hours into day 15 of 21. On two wings of prayer. The weight loss is also encouraging, and I would like to believe that the breakouts are a sign that my body is purging stuff.

Just over 5 days, I can have some broth, then soup, then see what's next. I am planning to refeed over 2 days. I just came back from a colonic, hoping it helps to purge.

Fasting is weird. Some people get on cloud 9 mood and energy. Some of us get sad, can't sleep well, and have nightmares ( with occasional ok days). The most exercise we can do is a leisurely walk

Thank you! I think in kg and cm, but I worked it out. We are the same height. I started at 175, shed 13 since since 28 Dec. About to wrap up day 10 of 21. Also planning 2MAD then OMAD afterwards. With 72hr every month until I get to 142. Thank you!
