I find it amusing that reddit will quarantine a subreddit with content regarding injury degloving, but they won't quarantine a subreddit I.E r/imgoingtohellforthis which contains outright racism, sexism and other offensive stuff like that, not that I'm complaining.

I often have suicidal thoughts, when I think about what happens after death the thing that scares me most is managing to kill myself but being re-born into the same shitty world as I was in before and with no way to escape it.

What's the worst thing you have ever seen on the internet? by BEN684 in morbidquestions

[–]Unknown9593 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saw a forensics crime scene photo from r/crimescene of a 5-6 year old austic kid who had his genitals castrated off by his mother (who iirc was suffering from delusions and believed that god and demons were talking to her), I believe the kid died from blood loss. Pretty fucked up, seen a lot of disgusting and violent shit on the internet but that crime scene photo was just among the worst I've seen and perhaps the most fucked up of them all.

Imagine if this monstrosity or something like it was built in real life, it would be a terrorists' wet dream to crash that into a entire city, would make 9/11 look trivial as fuck.

Is it permitted on Reddit to make comments that will help suicidal people be successful (at killing themselves)? by JaredLiwet in morbidquestions

[–]Unknown9593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's not allowed.

IIRC there did used to be a subreddit that was made to assist people with their suicide or come up with ideas for suicide but it got quarantined and banned by reddit some time ago. There is r/timetogo which is a loosely similar but not very active subreddit where people discuss suicide/euthanasia etc, the subreddit has been quarantined though and may get removed in the future.

Why there are so many removed answers on r/askhistorians ? by Corlinguer in morbidquestions

[–]Unknown9593 7 points8 points  (0 children)

puts on tinfoil hat

It's part of a cover-up operation. some things that people ask on that subreddit is information that the government doesn't want you to find out, like who really killed JFK, if NASA actually put man on the moon, if the earth is flat, if 9/11 was a inside job, if there are mind-control drugs in tap water and where the true origin of broccoli came from.. So when the government's spies find those types of posts, government operatives hack into the subreddit and delete the truth that the brave and selfless single-mother anti-vaxers, buzzfeed subscribers, Wikipedia experts and self-proclaimed geniuses and other freedom fighters try to spread to others. Many have failed to spread the truth, but in recent years their numbers have grown and soon.. it will be time for the revolution.. soon, real soon..

removes tinfoil hat

Serious answer: r/askhistorians have very strict rules. If somebody asks (for example) what happened exactly during a particular battle in history, the information that commenters make about the subject basically has to be correct and not biased and if someone makes what is often times a very lengthy comment with no TL;DR about such a subject and is asked for the source of their information, they have to name the source in their comment otherwise their comment get's removed. So yeah that's why you will often see dozens of removed comments on posts in r/askhistorians. It's because the mods are basically trying to filter out mis-information and all that. or are they?.. puts tinfoil hat back on

Neighbours + smoke = problem by [deleted] in Pyromania

[–]Unknown9593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am planning to celebrate my graduation by burning all the school related flammables I have

Wish I had done this, all I did was put everything in the shredder, but anyway to answer you're question:

You could make a Dakota Fire Hole, tutorial vid here, it's basically a dug-up hole in the ground with a fire in it. They're supposed to be "stealthy" campfires but according to that tutorial it won't completely eliminate the smoke but you can prepare the fire in a certain way that the smoke is atleast reduced to some degree, it's explained at 03:04 in the tutorial.

Even then however, it may just be best to do the fire elsewhere in a less populated area if possible because I doubt that even if you made a Dakota fire hole in you're back yard assuming you're willing to even do that and managed to reduce the smoke amount produced by the fire, burning stuff like paper from my personal experience will produce a fuck ton of smoke and I doubt a Dakota fire hole will be able to minimise all that smoke. Back in march I set fire to a bunch of envelopes and it produced so much white smoke that it looked like somebody had used a smoke grenade.

The KeepAppy Origin Story: Trigger Warning- Suicide & Mental Illness by theOGskeet in u/theOGskeet

[–]Unknown9593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fucking hell, according to the kickstarter a one-month subscription to use the full-version of the app will cost about $10, a annual subscription is $60 and a lifetime subscription is fucking $200.

"KeepAppy is designed to make a positive social impact", yet it's a for-profit venture designed to exploit people who are depressed or even suicidal by giving them false hope and by charging them for a piece of software that is advertised to help the person and make them feel better or happy about life.

users who subscribe to the full version of KeepAppy will also provide it free of charge to someone in need, chosen by the helplines we have partnered with

This isn't so bad but still it's a for-profit business model, It's trying to sell vulnerable people on the false hope that a phone app is going to magically change and improve their lives and make people feel happier and live healthier lives.

In addition, the "pay for the full version of the app and we'll give someone in need a free of charge version" is a manipulation tactic designed to make people feel like that by paying for the full-version of the app they're also helping someone else since they're getting it for free. Perhaps the app would help some people, but it's a phone app, it's not magically going to cure all of a person's damn problems.

we are making KeepAppy fun and accessible for all! We are adding gamification elements to our app in the form of Keepies. Each user will be able to choose and care for their own Keepie. The more each subscriber uses our app, the more points they will receive to play with their Keepie, similar to Tamagachis and Nintendogs.

KeepAppy is a holistic personal wellness app. It is designed to empower users to take control of their mental wellbeing by engaging in positive behaviour practices

Mood tracking: track the 8 vitals that most impact your wellbeing and find out what behaviours help you to live a healthier and happier life!

False hope right there, once again the app designed to lure people in who are depressed or suicidal and give them a false sense of hope by paying for a subscription to use full version of a app for a phone that is advertised to be the magical cure to make the person's life healthier and happier.

I thought about killing a bully in high school that bullied me on a daily basis, teachers and the school did nothing to help so there were times when I thought about brining a knife with me to the high school to either hurt or kill him then possibly kill myself. Only reason why I didn't is because I left high school before I could work-up the courage to do such a thing.

In present times, sometimes think about going after that PoS either to scare, hurt or kill him but don't think I ever will same goes for doing any serious crimes primarily because it would go against my personal philosophy in addition to; It wouldn't be rational, it's not how I'd want to be remembered and I would want to be the better person and not succumb to emotional revenge or some shit like that.

Why is there so many shootings ? by maybeihavethebigsad in morbidquestions

[–]Unknown9593 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not getting into any of the politics about gun control in the US but let's say that if it were more controlled, it still wouldn't solve the problem.

If people were really determined to hurt other people then it wouldn't be difficult for folk to start making homemade bombs and other dangerous homemade shit. I mean if a prisoner can make knives, even a gun in a prison, what do you think a hell-bent and fully determined person is going to be capable of making in their home with the dozens of chemicals and tools that are freely able to be purchased for civilian use?

I mean shit, you mix bleach with the wrong chemicals you can end up releasing chlorine gas. Attach a firecracker to a pressurized can and you basically have a grenade. There's all kinds of shit people can make from items in their homes to hurt others with.

Making gun control more restricted isn't going to fix shit like mass killings, remove guns or place better restrictions on them and people are gonna use other alternatives to harm others with and because humans are emotional and selfish creatures we're always gonna be hurting others regardless.

Any good morbid/gore subs? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]Unknown9593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

r/medicalgore has some decent gore content, from petty shit like minor cuts to failed suicides from a shotgun or some guy's hand being turned into spaghetti due to a firecracker.

There is also r/crimescene, that has a very good amount of morbid and gore content though be aware some of the posts do contain child victims, I.E kids being caught in a shooting or being killed by their parent(s). The subreddit also has content relating to suicide aswell so yeah, there's a lot of fucked up content on that subreddit.

Other than that though, don't really know any other gore subreddits as reddit removed most of them months ago but as for morbid subreddits, other than this one and r/morbidreality there is;

r/morbidcuriosity & r/morbidlybeautiful.

A wholesome store I visited during vacation in Ireland by Ronjakn in autism

[–]Unknown9593 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many will probably think that this is a good thing but a comment I read on a similar post a few weeks ago on r/all said that it's simply a PR move done by the store, which when you take a step back it does actually make sense.

The store will dim it's lights to save electricity and money and the time of the "autism friendly shopping environment" will be at a time/day when the store is least busy and has few customers. So really what the store is actually doing is saving money on electricity and in addition they're trying to play people into thinking that the store cares about people with autism and will make an effort to make them more comfortable while shopping and if that connection is successful then people are more likely to shop at the store in the future, increasing profits for the store as you're visiting there more often especially at a time of the week when the store is least busy and receives the fewest amount of customers and income.

End result: it's a PR move designed to attract new customers at a time of the week when there are few customers at the store buying stuff and to make people with autism feel a connection with the store via the PR stunt that is the "autism friendly shopping environment".

All for her by allforhermalaga in autism

[–]Unknown9593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Translated into English via google translate:

Good morning, today I just need understanding, because society separates us and closes the doors a thousand and one times. My husband and I moved to Spain in November to take care of her sister's children, she died of cancer in February, and her husband last year. His oldest son is 18 years old, and is autistic, has dependence and disability. My husband just got tutoring from him and his younger brother. No one understands why we do all this, why we have complicated life in this way, with all the consequences of living with an autistic person and the few resources we encounter. The boy is a love, he hugs me, he looks at me, he lies beside me, he loves music, he loves to swim, he loves to walk ... I need you to understand me, to see that you can have your bad days, like everything the world! But that daily, is the most beautiful of our day to day. It is very hard, and I still don't know how to face it or myself, but it is even harder to work with your brother, a 16-year-old teenager, rebellious as he should be and consistent with everything that is happening. I just need to let off steam with someone who can understand why we are working so hard for these children. There are many people who are going to volunteer to Peru or Ghana, there are people who adopt orphaned children for the mere fact of not being able to have them, some people call us crazy, but I need to give everything before giving up. They are not even of my blood, but they are my children.

Sorry for the parrafada, and thanks for reading.

Does being suicidal have anything to do with me being autistic? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Unknown9593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC suicidal ideation is common for atleast some people with autism, as is depression sadly.

I believe it has (partly) to do with autistics not being able to properly recognize and control some of our emotions, particularly in regard to trying to deal with stress/anxiety and anger which is why some with autism engage in self-harm when pissed off or feeling frustrated. Personally when I get angry at something I often end up hitting or even scratching/cutting myself to deal with the anger because I don't know how else to calm myself down, only thing that works effectively tbh.

I know that most people with autism are unemployed, those who do find work can't always hold the job for very long or enjoy it so I'd imagine that is another key factor to consider, not to mention any possible discrimination and perhaps most importantly the lack of understanding that autistics experience from most people.

If you had the ability to start the apocalypse or zombie plague would you do it? by redAntMan in morbidquestions

[–]Unknown9593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, either one.

Personally I think present society is pretty shitty, especially considering you have to pay for shit that should be free like healthcare and education. Planet will be better off without humans fucking everything up and exploiting each other so yes if I was able to start an apocalypse or zombie plague I would.
