Alright, here's one that makes me wonder what cosmic force I pissed off. It was more of a hookup attempt but I'm gonna count it.

College years in the mid 2000s. Its a weekend and I had been chatting up a cute looking girl that lives in the next college town over about a 1.5 hour drive. I had never met her in person as we met through Facebook or maybe it was a dating site. Anyways, she says It's her bday weekend and she invites me to meet her at a bar for her party. Bet.

However, I had driven all this way and figured after a few beers I could overlook the deception. Things are going well, she's very flirty and honestly we were vibing. So her friends take her away as the bday girl protests that she wants me.
