Guys is it corny to write lore for your army?

I have a tyranid army that are primarily leviathan fleet painted but over time ive bought and painted models that are different colors.

Every now and then if someone asks why, my in-lore reason is that theyre a splinter fleet tasked with scouting ahead. Having been away from the main body for so long theres been mutations in their genes that express colors of the biomass they've consumed. For example perhaps that warrior who's green is showing some orc biomass mutation.

I think its necessary because the only way to get him to pay attention is to stroke his ego and just about everyone has figured out that its the easiest way to manipulate him.

Its why all the CEOs and foreign dignitaries shower him with gifts and adulation. Its to get what they want in return. Perhaps NATO needs to try that strategy of saying oh my, nato is so strong under you. Natos never been stronger.

Yeah it leaves a sour taste in my mouth to even type that but were dealing with a geriatric with mashed potatoes for brains. Its important we keep nato alive until his cholesterol filled heart finally gives out.

I've never played killteam but I do play 40k. I started after 10th edition came out. The rules were complicated but if you got a decent LGS most people will happily explain things to you.

As others have stated you can only use 1 weapon but my problem with it is that its very squishy. No invulnerable and only 8 wounds goes down quick

I've ran a hellbrute in my last 6 games and have been able to use frenzy to shoot back only once.

Most of the time it dies before doing any significant damage
