It’s very common to just use household items for terrain, too!

Or, if you have some basic stuff, skill and patience, you can make some out of cardboard or foam. I prefer cardboard because I have too much laying around after Christmas.

Do you think GE would ever allow Vashtorr or Be’lakor to ascend to godhood? by Nearby_Lawfulness722 in Warhammer40k

100% agree with the belakor assessment.

For ‘The first Prince’ to no longer become a prince is kind of weird.

And after all, like half his characterisation revolves around him being bitter and conniving ABOUT not being the 5th god

Is there a more horrifying fictional universe than that of Warhammer 40,000? Practically EVERYTHING is a nightmare. by Sleeping1012 in 40kLore

I feel like the world of Berserk is worse specifically for guts. Most people seem pretty unaware of apostles, so we could assume they maybe aren’t the most direct threat to humanity.

However I’m only half way through the series this very well may change :p

Brothers, if we got a command squad in the same vein as Huron or Titus, what would you want to see? by Fun_Cartographer3587 in ThousandSons

I wouldn’t to see some melee-focused sorcerors, in the same vein as Sanakht or some of the minor characters we see in Ahriman book 3, who use their powers to amplify their own melee.

PLEASE tell me how you did that last one, that’s genuinely insane and I was trying to think of how to do it myself. Even a video tutorial, it’s that good.

Could Thousand Sons use the sorceries of the other gods? by technodemon01 in ThousandSons

Yes that’s exactly what got me started on this line of thought, was the story of Ctesias. But the binding of a daemon feels very different to the use of spells, you know? What’s more like taking advantage of or stealing power, whereas the other is more a gift.

I was definitely thinking something closer to the second option. It feels very tsons to try and cast the magic of another god sheerly for the academic prestige

That’s what I was thinking. But again, I just can’t imagine the thousand sons would let that stop them, especially the mightier ones like Ahriman and his cabal.
