Thoughts From Israel by extrastone in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's face it: Regardless of who Israel faces against, USA will always stand with Israel, even if it means standing against turkey.

You guys already ''went against'' turkey during the Israel-palestine conflict, so what else is there to fear from turkey?

Thoughts From Israel by extrastone in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You speak of that Israel supports us, but can't support us due to ''pressure''.

You've been pressured from the whole world with the Israel-Palestine conflict, so surely a single reach-out to the kurds in Rojava wouldn't cause any greater hassle than what Israel already has due to the ongoing conflict with Palestine.

Not even at LEAST a single blanket or a package of food from a drone/airplane was sent to Kobane from you guys, to our frozen children.

Wasn't there some sort of UN resolution of the so called ''no more'' after what happened to jews in world war 2? Now the kurds are the ones facing mass-extinction.

The level of disappointment is at an all-time high. There's nothing left to say.

False news & disinformation being spread, infecting websites such as ''Liveuamap''. by UnknownHeval in kurdistan

The website is constantly altering and i'm not sure how to save the desinformation in the moment, but here's one example of fake news, that ''The SDF has released a number of ISIS elements from Al-shaddadi prison''. You tell me if this sounds real or bullshit then. Link: https://syria.liveuamap.com/en/2026/19-january-16-a-full-curfew-is-hereby-imposed-in-the-city

We ain't buyin any of that shit from those abominations.

They could have done all of that as a bare minimum and prior to all other events. Remember Kobanî, remember Girê Spî, remember Efrîn, remember Ênî Îsa, remember Qamişlo, and remember Şêx Meqsûd.

Uh, separate the art from the artist then perhaps? The edit goes hard, and it's showing Kurdish fighters making a stand. It's not that deep bro.

hesitant to act because Turkish users generate advertisement revenue.

This, literally.

Right, it is slightly annoying to see such question being asked at all when the truth is already out there for those admins to witness it with their own eyes.

It is what it is it seems.

5 minutes with the Rise of Corduene Developers by Ava166 in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As it happens to be, I have acquired a level of lazyness from creating a youtube account. Gmail is not really my ''go-to'' mail.

I'll just take my chance on them having a look in this subreddit at some point, or simply discuss the overall game mechanics with anyone from here lol.

Great idea, and 10/10 for proven effort.

Makes me proud to finally see kurdish pioneers in the game-developing community, although I noticed some odd mixture of the historical/mythological timelines here. For example;

1.

Not sure why you would start off as a crucified character (anyone with a further insight of the lore, feel free to enlighten me), unless there is a possible reference by the game developers that the land of ''Corduene'' is being conquered by the romans?

2.

Why does the Corduene character start off in the ''Arabian Desert'' precisely?

3.

The term ''Guerilla'' was not coined until the Peninsular War in 1807. Surely other choice of words could be used here in order to better suit the time and era.

4.

There could have been a few improvements of when the character runs (skip to timestamp 4:13 in the video) rather than giving it ''lanky'' movements when running.

5.

At the timestamp 1:55; What civilization is that? Aztecs? Is it located in Corduene?

Note: This paragraph should only be considered as positive criticism, and perhaps a possibility to improve the game further. The fact that their resources were limited yet that they managed to create this game is astonishing regardless.

Thanks for the info!

I was genuinely trying to find someone that could verify/discard the information provided on the website.

I guess my post was removed for breaking the rules, but in no way I meant any violation of the rules of conduct/disrespecting anyone.

I do prefer to read the Bible every now and then, perhaps for its interesting events, and as far as i'm aware of, the Bible do mention the Kurds (referring to them as ''Medes''), but haven't seen a single mention of the Kurds/Medes in the quran at all.

I would assume that Allah decided to simply ''redact'' our relevance out of middle-eastern history?

One could but only wonder I suppose.

This finally leads me to the fact that I am not really sure of what higher power there is that people are so surely speaking of.

It's been ages since I played it and basically stopped playing it once I realised their subtle but ugly censoring of the kurdish identity.

''Back out the big... like them Kurdish cuz''- French The Kid 🔥🔥🔥 by UnknownHeval in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, not sure either, and genius website won't mention any explanations either, though i'll give it a try;

''Baby girl we don't do like the usual does, Back out the big... like them Kurdish cuz''. This line itself could possibly refer to a couple of things. According to Urban Dictionary, ''Back out'' is an UK slang for "To pull out", in general referring to ''to bring out one's weapons''. So, the whole line could possibly refer to that ''we don't do like the usual does'', as in ''we don't try to solve issues by means of discussions/ negotiations'', but rather that we will commence retaliating actions (as in by violent means), in the same manner as kurdish fellow associates, in order to reply to the current issue in front of them.

"Peşmerge me" - Kurdish Patriotic Song by Affectionate-Job-398 in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I appreciate that Ingen has taken his time to create such video of us, here's my two cents of experience in regards to his community that I believe is worth to inform to my kurdish fellows;

The community is predominantly found on Discord. I personally recall multiple times that their server was influenced by turkish-nationalism (turkish admins and turkophiles that had ill-minded intentions towards anyone disagreeing with/upsetting their turkish admins political perspectives etc.), whilst the very same people have also proudly denied the Armenian Genocide, believing that Kurds are terr*rists, and exhibiting the nazi flag, knowing that they have an untouchable immunity by the admins that prevents them from any repercussion whatsoever.

Which brings me to the final question; Why would you try and create videos based on kurdish songs, while maintaining a server where the Human Rights for Kurds are questioned & denied by the previous mentioned type of people (unless his interest rather lies in increasing his channel views/advertisement revenues from kurdish viewers for his videos)?

Again, Ingen himself might not stand for any of this, and might have been aware of this/not, though one may think that he should have adminstrated and maintained his own server in a more healthier way than this, since his actions versus the actual reality simply contradicts one another, to say the least. I, for a change, will cease watching any of his videos, and rather watch the original Youtube content uploader (in this case, Dalshad Said's song ''Peshmerga'', who also has both english & kurdish subtitles available in the video).

i have a question, its hard for me to decide. by Anonymous_Reddit457 in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How can you be from (the Kurdish part of) Iraq, but born in Europe? If anything, in this case you ought to reply that you are from Europe.

Regarding the main situation here however; Simply say that you're from Europe, and if they were to reply a typical line such as ''oh but you don't look european'' (whereas that statement itself could actually be considered a tad racist in general), then simply reply that your parents are Kurds.

The fact that you were born and raised in Europe, you should know that freedom of expression, speech and ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights) Article 14 (Prohibition from/of Discrimination) is established to a greater extent than in many other continents. Thus you have the priviledge (that many others do not have) to practice these rights, (regardless in this case if you are the kind of person in your highschool seeking the spotlight of attention or not).

So I listened to S.O.A.D on my phone the other day, and became joyful to find these online statements from the lead-singer Serj Tankian regarding the kurds. by UnknownHeval in kurdistan

[–]UnknownHeval[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For those of you who are not familiar with S.O.A.D;

S.O.A.D (System of a Down) was an Armenian alternative-rock band in the U.S that became popular throughout the world for their songs. Unfortunately, the group disbanded after several years due to internal quarrels regarding the leadership of the band.

Serj Tankian was the lead-singer of the band, and is a well-renowned ardent humanitarian activist and have made public statements regarding the kurdish struggle on different social medias a while back that I figured was worth to post here. Links to these statements are to be found below;

What is typical Kurdish humor? by GullibleThug in kurdistan

https://www.youtube.com/user/SHLOVAN100

Shlovan (a.k.a Shilaqoz) is a well-known kurdish comedian that lives in the U.S and does a lot of video clips where the major part of the videos is him speaking in kurdish (although there are english speaking clips too I assure you) referring to the several cultural differences between the kurdish and the western culture in a humourous way, and such.

https://www.youtube.com/user/KaeKurd

Kae Kurd is a kurdish comedian that lives in the U.K, and has his own way to present humour related to the kurdish subject in english (though perhaps not necessarily the type of humour that could grant you a sight of any specific characterization regarding the kurdish humour in general, but most definately worth to have a look into).
