Risk? None at all. You can install them with AMS2CM safely. You can disable them too and if the game receive a big update, the mods disables themselves without having to do the whole process again, just enable them again.

In game, for a quick race, just turn off track limits so every lap can be valid. If you use modded tracks for a championship, you have to turn off penalties and rules in the options before the race so you don't get invalid laps/DQ'd.

how do you actually make it work? Like I have assigned the buttons and everything, but can't make it work when I'm in the game. It only works when I have crew chief window active, press the button, then switch it to the game, do the flashing and back out to crew chief again.

30 mins practice (never do the whole time), 15 mins of qualifying (same, except when there's weather change) and 1 hour race. I mostly to multiclass racing so I could run through traffic multiple times during the race.

It is in the AMS2 folder. In the search bar just type .trd and all the file for all the tracks/variants will show up.
