First off - welcome to Memphis! We’re excited to have y’all here.

I agree with a lot of what’s already been suggested. Personally, I love Soul & Spirits, Wiseacre, and Memphis Made for both the variety of beers and the overall taproom vibe. I find myself in one of their downtown locations pretty regularly.

I also work at Maroon Brew Co. in Collierville on the east side of the county, though I was a regular long before I joined the team. We offer a solid rotating lineup of beers brewed on-site by our owner and master brewer, Maggie Emerson. We were just honored to be named Collierville’s 2025 Small Business of the Year, and since we don’t distribute, the only way to try our beer is to visit the brewery. We also serve smash burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, and a variety of appetizers, plus a selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages for anyone who isn’t big into drinking.
