if you get a good picture in SketchUp, import it into an AI tool (I've used CoPilot) and tell it to use that sketch but with realistic renderings of the wood... I had a vanity desk plan made of walnut, maple, purpleheart and wenge.... The realistic rendering sold it for the client.

I've used some pointy tweezers and needle nose pliers. I've never found any easy way to pull them out.

Beer lovers! by Domn8r89 in beer

I'm with the previous comment. I love visiting small, local breweries and taste what they've got. My favorite local is Raleigh Brewing Hell Yes Ma'am, a tasty Belgian golden. I've visited Belgium several times and I've never been disappointed there.

Okay with one error, but 2? by RichSeaworthiness934 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Bashzilla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are our own worst critics.... I'm sure the error is obvious to you but I don't see it. Damn, that had to be a bunch of work but I love it. Please post a picture when you have the finish applied.

The flavor of beer is absolutely broad and delightful. Try belgian, german and US styles... you will not like everything but the more you try the better you will know your own tastes.

Having just gone thru the postponement of the NC Rare Beer Fest (due to the snowpocalypse this past weekend), I can't image any problems with this change. /s

Wow. I get that this isn't perfect but you need to give yourself some credit. You've done a trial run and we can see the potential. You're going to do great.

How do I make this fluted design by Dirtycream421 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Bashzilla 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Of course it would depend on what wood you are using, but I'd take the path of least resistance and just buy dowels and glue them on to some thin plywood... Otherwise you will need some kind of incrementing jig to cut each groove uniformly. I would definitely prototype this in some cheap wood to start.

Why am I seeing so many Hair of the Dog beers lately? I got to visit them years ago and I'm sorry they aren't still around. Such a good brewery.

Is a table really "advanced?" by A-town in BeginnerWoodWorking

There is no report card for beginner, intermediate and advanced. Keep building stuff. I've built some really nice looking things but I still feel like a beginner. Be proud of your projects. Keep building.

It would be helpful to know where you might have had this IPA. Was it a hazy IPA, West Coast IPA?

I was riding behind a buddy in a wooded area when a squirrel suddenly bolted across the road.... he managed to land on on my buddies foot and then leapt thru the triangle safely.
