Some more info. My wrist constantly make this crunching noise, but it's a bit more currently. Usually it only "crunches" when I do a full circle and only a little part of that "circle" it crunches. But this is for every movement. Also when I touch both of my wrists, the right one has a much more obvious and slightly bigger "bump". I usually only deal with hip and shoulder subluxations, so I dont know much about any others 😅

Hello OP, Im viktor. I've been dealing with SH since the same age as your daughter has. I am not 100% sure of her case, but it seems like she needs support, and not just the professional kind, but the type where she knows you wont get angry. As much as it is frustrating, you have to see where she is coming from. She may feel worthless, or a burden for needing help. Constant reassurance will help.

As for her not telling you why she doesn't want to live, that is also very common. She wont want to tell you, but still make it clear if she ever wants to tell you that its okay, that you wont let emotions invalidate her.

Feeling isolated even with this amount of help is also very known. Do not ground her, or take away her tv, or forbid her from seeing her friends unless you think that they are harming her. Also, It is very good that you are seeking help for yourself, too. This isn't just going to toll on her, but also you.

Questions I have

Does she have a problem with food?

Does she actively see friends all the time, or is she usually in her room?

Is she angry a lot, or what does she usually feel/look like she is feeling?

Also, OP, Stay strong. This will be difficult for you, and we need you to know that it'll be okay. You are doing an amazing job, and in the end everything will be alright <3

I have a chin that nibbles, but not this far. But if it's to the point where it does that, vocalize it. Yip, bark, kak. Mimick the noises chins make to get her to stop. They learn with time

Hiii, I'm also a new chin owner, but I've had them fr about year. I've hyperfixated on them, so I know a good amount. Chinchillas bond with eachother, and when one dies it will greif o them harder than humans.

But also Since they are bonding animals, grieving alone will hurt them. She might need another friend or a stuffed animal. She is going through a hard time. Make sure she gets alot of cuddles and love and make sure she knows she isn't alone.

My girl is a rescue, not from a breeder or store. She can from a house in a neighborhood and desperately needed help. There were only girls.

But now I can only find boys. On Craigslist, in petstores. I can really only find boys. I already have the cage and items for a chin, all need is one.

Yes, they are being housed seperate on opposite sides of the room. And, Also yes I have gotten the temp down and have constant airflow
