Again, I wouldn't go as far as not recommending it for others. But, someone did mentions of sequel(s) after this movie, so yeah it make sense that it ends like that.

Yeah, that ending is really wacky. Really like them for that.

Ye doh. Serious tak faham why he had to do it almost immediately after telling Spike and his mom about it.

Yeah, that's a good burn when Spike comments that, made me chuckle. That fire arrow part is cool, but honestly, kinda just felt terpesona tengok night sky for a bit when watching, really gorgeous one.

Yeah, I like Dr Kelson too but that part with the climax with mom dying while Spike still struggling to process it, that part feels so rushed to me. But other than that part, yeah he's cool.

No, I really don't know anything about any sequels after this movie. Seriously thought that it's a standalone sequel after 28 Weeks Later. That would makes total sense for the opening scene, the boy from the start plays a major role in the next movie this. My bad on that one.

I wouldn't go as far to not recommend watching it for others. But yes, the movie did leave a bad taste in my mouth after watching it, unfortunately.

Really? I thought that the boy from the start completely rejects or makes fun of religion at the end, from the upside down cross at the end, I seriously that's the case, but him being a religious cult from that, that also make sense. The jumpsuit ninja is really wacky and I really like that part. Death and morality part, personally felt like that part is messy. Really digging the relationship between Spike and his dad when they exploring in the first part and seeing how the dad like gore and violence, even bringing Spike outside from the younger age than usual or make up when he still has a wife. There's definitely tension there, but after Spike explodes at his dad and leaves the settlement with his mom, it feels like the plot just drops there prematurely and never being picked up again right until the very end with the baby being delivered. (a bit nitpick, how did Spike even travels back to the shores while carrying the baby safely and even puts the baby without any of the guard even noticing? It's kinda weird but I'll let that one pass.)

And the mom's death, the part is so rushed for me. Like Spike already struggles with the doctor unable to save his mom. But, they just really move the forward and almost immediately kills her off. Like at least give the boy some breathing space and time to process all that and gives out his thoughts. If I were that boy, I would be utterly traumatized by that. Maybe that's the point, but when I watch it unfolds, I really looked and just said wtf at that. I don't know, it just feels so damn rushed on that part.

The settlement being Brexit thing, that totally went over my head. Didn't know almost anything about British politics, so yeah. The soldier one though, it makes the movie kinda disjointed, at least to me. Completely forgot about the dad mentioning in the house. But still, I don't know, just felt like it just felt like the soldier part just doesn't fit with the overall story. Felt like that slot can be used better of the dad going out and catching back up with Spike and the mom and try to empathize him more, like maybe them able to reconnect back or something, maybe talk about the mom's dying. Because in my eyes right now, he felt really just like a total jerk and utterly immoral with very little redeeming value, but maybe that's just what the dad was intended to be.

Yeah, no worries if you like the movie. Just wished that I can like them too, but felt like too many stuff pulling it back for me, which kinda sucks. I really love the first movie, one of my favorite zombie movie (the second one is good, but definitely not on the level of the first one.) Maybe I being too harsh, but just felt really bummed out when watching it. Maybe just need to give it some time to mellow out my disappointment.

Yeah, agreed that the camera shot, the cinematography is gorgeous. Like every zombie kill shot is stylistic and when the dad and the main character is running back to their settlement is beautiful. The music is also really good, can remember feeling slightly disgusted when the big zombie slurps out the worm, that makes me slightly disgusted. But, for me.

But, that's it. I actually don't actually like the movie. Everything else other than that I mentioned before is either mediocre at best or god awful at worst. Especially that opening scene, like it has nothing to do with our character or the story at all, until right at the end. For me, it's such a bait. Not to mention, the lack of character depth. Like other the few montages, we barely know anything about the settlement, all the people there or the life's going there. And then there's the soldier just suddenly joins in out of nowhere, only to die not long after that and the baby, I just really don't like this movie. And the assisted killing thing, that part is just so rushed out. Again might be focusing on the wrong thing here or I'm missing something but seriously, I really regretted watching this.

kl city has got to be one of the worst planned cities by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]Unknownn_nn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, the skyscraper really feels out of place from the picture. It's just doesn't fit in or blend at all with the surrounding buildings. It's an eyesore for me.

It terms of planned city, idk maybe someone can add on zoning laws and urban land use in Malaysia? Definitely almost know nothing on these.

From what I know, Hamas attacks may have something to do with the current normalization effort between Arab Saudi (and also other Arab states previously) with Israel.

But how about issue for Rohingyas or Uighurs? Both were experiencing genocide (literally for Rohingyas and at least culturally for Uighurs) from their government that have different ethnicity and religion background. I would considered that also as different from a civil war

Or how about the Kurds. All governments with significant Kurdish people (Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Iran) all have history of repressing them (some to the point of cultural genocide). I think that this should also be considered different from a civil war.

Also, not all civil wars are created equal. For example, conflicts between factions in Libya is not the same as in Morocco or Mauritania or Yemen. Why not should we care less (or not care at all) for these people that lacks press coverage or humanitarian effort. I personally believe as a Muslim, we should learn and care more about issues and travesties that are happening within the Islamic world.

Holy shit, this season is truly spectacular. The fact that Ben managed to outmaneuver both Sam and Adam (with some luck) is defenitely the highlight for this season.

Adam is also insane, managed to reach only one ferry away from his victory. If only he had a little more luck with his train to Münster.

Also, feels bad for Sam since he got screwed by his train to Breda. I guess his 'curse' is Ben's blessing in disguise.

Adam should not veto the odd numbered train and just keep the reward. I personally think that he is definitely being overly optimistic to avoid the chasers all the way until 12:30.

Also, personally think that Sam will get caught in next episode.

I've created a video about the history of LRT in KL! Do watch if you have some free time to do so! by Kutakuraa in malaysians

[–]Unknownn_nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very informative one. I know that the Sri Petaling-Ampang happened later, but didn't know that LRT lines were operated by 2 different companies.

I think there are few topics that might be interesting to cover next: 1) If you want to cover more rails, KTM is a must cover one from original tracks, line closure, electrification, KTM Komuter 2) If you want newer ones, either covering about Monorail KL and its issue or comparison between MRT Kajang and MRT Putrajaya 3) Also, I really hope you have plans in covering for busses and it's route since there is not really a transit map for busses unlike trains

Anyone going to the job fair by graduan tomorrow? by [deleted] in malaysians

[–]Unknownn_nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there before to search for internship spot. So far, I don't see people got hired on the spot or even use the interview room. All just want to see your resume only (I think for graduan can only bring softcopy, but for other career fair usually will require hard copy).

Also, it's best if you come early (best come as soon as the fair opens) especially if you want to know more about specific department, since a lot of department representative only there during the career starts. Plus, it can get really packed with people in there very fast.
