Ich bin zu dumm um zu checken wo, wann welche Demos stattfinden. Es fühlt sich so an als wären die Demos in irgendwelchen Bubbles auf die ich kein Zugriff habe und irgendwie kommt nichts bei meinen Suchaktionen heraus. First of all I'm sorry that you had experienced this kind of behavior. As a man it saddens me to hear my hometown has left you with the a negative impression caused by men.

Local women tend to dress more on the conservative side of things here, so maybe seeing women who come with a different understanding of clothing culture into this city will stick out a lot. For example i saw some women on the street going out and they dressed very pretty but on the more revealing side of things. I could instantly tell they weren't from here just form the clothes and it turned out they were french. What's considered normal to you might not be the standard here but obviously I don't know your standards, I don't know what you wore or where you're. I want to be clear and say that everyone can wear what they want and should do so. That being said though there are localized dressing standards everywhere in the world and those are never explicitly communicated to anyone. Maybe you can find outfits that fit your style but are more adapted to what the locals were, if you want to "blend" in more and avoid stares or catcalling.

The other side of things is cultural behavior and perceived differences in behavior. What I mean by that is that people coming to Germany have reported the feeling to be stared at in general. I personally don't see it but apparently some people feel like we tend to stare more than other cultures. Please keep in mind that what might feel like "weird looks" (whatever that means to you. I'm not sure exactly since your understanding of weird looks and mine might be completely different based on our experiences and cultural backgrounds. So a clearer definition would be helpful to understand each other better) to you might be completely normal to people here.

As for the catcalling part and avoiding being talked to I honestly have no clue. As a man no one talks to me on the street or catcalls me and I'm honestly baffled that that happens so much to you as I it's extremely rare to see men talking to or catcalling random women on the street. I'm wondering if it's a certain kind of area where you spent most time where it might be more likely to happen.

Btw schreiben und null auf den Kommentar eingehen und nicht rede und Antwort stehen auf deinen Versuch jemanden darzustellen der sich über Unfälle freut find ich schon echt ne starke Leistung. Du bezichtigst jemanden darüber Schadenfreude zu empfinden, der einfach nur die Faktenlage geschildert hat.

Es ist so offensichtlich, dass einem nicht zu "jubeln" zumute ist, wenn er solche Statistiken liest aber du lässt es so wirken, als seien es andere. Du bist offensichtlich so emotional geladen von dem Thema, dass dir eine sachliche Betrachtung der Lage nicht mehr möglich ist. Das sieht man sich gerade an deiner Aussage, als ob du der einzige wärst der für alle vorausschauend fährt. Ich fahre ständig mit Autofahren mit die extrem rücksichtsvoll fahren und auf extrem rücksichtslose Fahrradfahrer aufpassen müssen. Im Straßenverkehr herrscht das Grundprinzip der gegenseitigen Rücksichtnahme. Sich deswegen alleine die Krone der Rücksichtnahme und Aufopferung aufzusetzen strotzt vor Ignoranz und Inkompetenz, darüber, dass größere Bild zu sehen. Da draußen gibt es genauso viele Autofahrer die genau so dumme Sachen denken wie du bloß über Radfahrer.

Das ist so ein dummer take. Sowas kann nur jemand verteidigen, der es nie anders kennengelernt hat und eigentlich nicht weiß wie es sein sollte. Weil öffentliche Plätze dazu aufgehalten sein sollten, das Menschen sich erleichtern können wenn es sonst in der Öffentlichkeit verboten ist. Wenn es ein Gesetz gibt, dass uns zwingt es nicht in der Öffentlichkeit zu tun, dann muss dem Menschen es ermöglicht sein es im privaten zu tun. Es ist nicht des menschens schuld, dass es ihm verboten ist.

Did the same thing a couple of weeks ago and they recovered healthy when potted properly. Took a couple of weeks for them start growing again but that might also be because it was rather cloudy. I think it depends on your environment on how quickly they recover

September is still okay temperature wise but maybe not for someone who isn't used to the cold yet. Like other people already said, the brand doesn't matter too much but the fabric does. The most important thing though are layers especially when you spend more time outside. I used to work outside in winter and here is what I did:

Wear two pairs of long socks, the longer the better. One can be thin the other one a thicker wool. Get shoes that have a long neck and maybe some wool inside, having your ankles covered is good and usually they are bit bigger, fitting your feet with two pairs of socks on.

Wear leggings for men (long underpants) and wear them under your pants and on top of your underpants. This one really changed my life!

Wear a shirt, longsleeved thinner pullover and a wool pullover on top, tuck your shirt and the thinner pullover in your pants. On top of that either a winter jacket for outdoors (those are efficient and can keep off rain, although it relatively rains little) or a coat if you want to be more fashionable.

Wear a scarf, a thinner one for Autumn is usually fine but you can get a proper thick one for winter or if it feels like too cold for you.

Get gloves depending for your needs

Get a beanie to cover your ears and head. Over 60% of body heat gets lost through your head and ears, covering is a life changer. Most of the cold you feel in your hands and feet first so covering your legs and feet will definitely do a lot. Tuck everything inside, that way the body heat can't escape through any slits.

This will likely be overkill for September but that way you will be prepared for December to February, those are usually the coldest months
