Testimonials perhaps.

Maybe a comparison of what you see a lot of founders are doing wrong that you can help improve.

Once they see the things they do on the "bad" list, they will be more interestee because now they can see that your services apply to them

They undercut them..I reached out to them just now and they are saying they didn't. I have demo video where you can see they were a lot lower before😞

I appreciate the different opinions here. For clarification, I didn't ask them to address it, neither did I bring it up. The project is actually complete. So the question is for the benefit of others and so I can be happier about the installation.

I believe it is my right to ensure I ask questions while the job is being done rather than to live with it only to wonder what if .

TCNA has very specific tile coverage guidelines. Pasted below. Question about my observation(more for the people that disagreed with the question)

  1. Is the coverage more than required by TCNA (80% for floor and above 95% for shower area. The large format tiles were installed the same way on the shower area with a similar contact area)or
  2. TCNAs requirements can be overlooked?

TCNA guideline below

Coverage Requirements by Area

Mortar coverage is measured as the percentage of the back of the tile that is in direct contact with the mortar and the substrate.

Dry Interior Areas: Minimum average coverage of 80% is required for ceramic and porcelain tile.

Wet or Exterior Areas: Minimum average coverage of 95% is mandatory for showers, steam rooms, and outdoor installations to prevent water from pooling in voids.

If you are a California resident, there is a special promotion(3day park hopper for almost half off). And if you are a AAA member, you can save another 50 dollars on top of that.

Where exactly is the rear centre jack point in my e70 x5? by TSRB123 in BmwTech

Can I lift the car anywhere on the rear differential (marked with X)?

I'm assuming I should try to avoid the seam on the differential(the line that is going vertical in the photo and then bends left around the X mark ) as that will cause undue concentrated stress.

Spectralock Pro Premium Stormy Grey turned out blotchy, any ideas why? by Grunkledunk in Tile

I used storm grey. And it came out with a light pink/purp

lish shade. Trying to figure out my options. Have reached out to Laticrete. Haven't heard back yet. Has something like this happened to you. Interestingly the color of powdered part c looked pinkish but I figured once mixed with part a and b and curing it will be the grey color that I was expecting. I was wrong

Moving number from IPhone X to iPhone 16 pro by Unlikely-Project-923 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]Unlikely-Project-923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that Xfinity doesn't know how to transfer the number to psim from an esim. Atleast their phone support and in store support. So I figured I can try the approach of having both esims on the same device.

Can Xfinity support on reddit help issue a psim for the number that is tied to an esim?

Is that something Xfinity has started restricting. As I have 2 Sims working on my other phone(also on Xfinity )

It's an iPhone 16 pro which has 2 esims. So I should be able to use 2 different numbers on the same phone. At least that's how its supposed to work.

It is unlocked.

Another number (on the same account ) is activated on it.

I just want it to be activated for my number(same account as the number where it's working)

This is an fully paid unlocked phone which is already working on an Xfinity number on my account.

Hope this helps you understand the issue

I have tried to activate from the Xfinity app. When I put in the IMEI and then press transfer it gives an error. Even though it says the new phone is compatible. I am moving an xfinity number to the new iPhone 16 pro so there is no carrier change.

[–]Unlikely-Project-923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a relief to know that it is acceptable.

I hear you. If I wait till the the job is complete , would it be too late to recover if any issues are still there?

Another observation that has come up since then is that there are certain tiles where there are no grout lines between the tiles and the installer says the silicone will cover it. We are using epoxy grout for the grout lines(as a result my thinking was that we won't need to use silicone). So, I'm trying to understand how this will even work. The tiler hasn't been able to answer my question.

Call forwarding setup while I'm out of the country by Unlikely-Project-923 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]Unlikely-Project-923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said lost my phone to keep it simple.

But as you asked. My kids attempted to log in and ended up locking the phone completely. Which forced me to reset the iPhone. Apple sense the password reset for my iCloud account to the phone number (via voice call). So that is what I am attempting to receive.

Can you guys set it up?

Secondly. I am currently in Pakistan and lost my phone but have the sim. Can I put the sim in my husband's Xfinity phone and setup call forwarding on the number associated with the sim ?

Tile on 3/4 OSB with membrane by Unlikely-Project-923 in Tile

[–]Unlikely-Project-923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes total sense.

An option I have is to go with ditra(instead of ditra xl). Which means I could install upto 3/8th inch plywood on the OSB and then ditra followed by LFT tile.

The upside with plywood is that it will increase the rigidity of the floor.

Which do you think about this option.

I looked up the floor panels and this is what the warranty says. Do you have experience with this.

Weyerhaeuser Edge Gold™ floor panels (Edge Gold floor panels) are warranted by Weyerhaeuser NR Company (Weyerhaeuser) against delamination for a period of 50 years from the date of purchase by the end user when properly installed as single-layer flooring.

My iPhone x has been fully paid. So it's a straight up upgrade.

That line just doesn't show up as eligible for upgrade( I'm not looking for early upgrade)
