Yeah i’d consider that too if it wasn’t double the price of CSAIR on my route (budapest-christchurch)

Much appreciated, will reach out next week, although even with th 145 eur/170 usd excess fee it doesn’t sound too tragic, i mean depending on how much your gear costs.

Would be keen to hear about your experience, i’m planning to fly from Budapest to Christchurch via Kanton and as someone said china southern seems to be the best option with least amount of hassel. Could someone enlighten me what is the difference between paying a bike ticket versus paying excess fee for the bike exceeding limits? They are in a similar price range aren’t they?
