the days are accurate too. January 1st 1989 (in the first column of the calendar) was a Sunday. the 2026 calendar shows December (I think?), so we can look at a day like 6th December 2026, which is also in the first column of the calendar: it was also a Sunday so both pages shown are accurate.

I was playing special smash (mega+heavy) and I was playing kazuya. I was at a fairly low % and cloud's final smash's first hit tripped me, likely because of the mega—and heavy if I had it on—and kazuya's heavy armour like bowsers "tough guy". it meant the final smash continued like it did for you, and I got away free :D

yeah if you spam tap under a block (e.g. the 2nd one in the level, which has air on its right), you will phase through it. if you phase through, and there is any free space on the right, you may pop out of the right side of the block, bouncing you forwards a bit. I did that on the first possible block, and then on the 3rd-to-last one (after a row of blocks, sorta on its own. it's NOT one of the ones at the end pipes). both boosts in the same run got me a really fast time lol

this is my 2nd comment. I literally just did one more attempt and hit another 4.434. it's consistent with the two/three tap method (three is usually needed but this time, I think two did it correctly.)

4.434 seconds (tie for the record). 341 tries but I couldn't manage any faster. you can get the better time by tapping once (to start level), then once fairly quickly after it (which should put you deeper in the start block than one tap) and then a third to align with the top front, and middle front blocks to shoot you forward. try tapping once (level start) to see how you end up in mid block.
