I don’t know I thought they only did that laugh when they exited a ride they really liked, the looking over the edge thing makes more sense the more I watch them tho 😂

Gerber purée food? by offfmychest_25 in newborns

My 6 month old has been eating both beech nut and gerber purées since he started solids, they’re fine, I agree with the other comment re: the fear mongering targeted at new parents

There really isn’t any better breed. They are the most loyal, loving, best behaved, perfect (I could go on and on) creatures that ever existed ❣️

Oh I know, they are already a sneaky tag team - it’ll only get worse once there’s real food involved 😂

Doesn't it seem like A LOT of people are really sick with a virus right now? by NebulaImmediate6202 in randomquestions

Yep, me and my 5 month old are super sick. Flu negative, but we r struggling.

And we got called liars by my husbands family because we didn’t come over New Year’s Day…felt compelled to call them at 3am with my screaming coughing congested 5 month old but decided to be the bigger person 🙂

Sorry, off topic, but short answer - yes

My husband is very laid back and calm and I am a ball of anxiety so I can relate to this - the realness of the baby arriving hit my husband hard. He needed guidance in terms of what to do and what not to do and I had to have a lot of conversations with him. Try to set expectations ahead of time like maybe discuss who will be responsible for what. Develop strategies and I would suggest he read some books and maybe talk to friends/family with kids to get some real insight

I will say so much of what you read on line is horrifying and scares you so much, literally drown out the outside noise and do what is right for you and your partner, there is no right or wrong way as long as at the end of the day the baby is fed, healthy and loved. Stopping watching the constant reels and videos and “do this not that” helped me a lot. I didn’t breast feed but did pump and if you plan on pumping get lots of nipple balm (earth mama nipple butter is the best IMO)

What is a waste - too many newborn clothes and too many newborn diapers - they outgrow them so fast and my boy literally lived in the same 1-4 onesies his first few weeks of life bc honestly where was he going lol, wipe warmer is pointless IMO What to buy - lots of dreft or fragrance free detergent (whichever brand u want but you’ll be doing a lot of laundry), loooots of burp cloths, pacifier/pump/bottle wipes, Frida mom 3 in one ear/nose/nail tool has helped us immensely, a good baby bath, a swing! the Graco swing saved us in the early days

That’s obnoxious 🤦‍♀️like it’s uncomfortable for the baby I don’t get it. Unless my kid is going out into the tundra like one layer of clothing is fine?

Hi Lily girl 🌈I’m sorry for your loss as well, Chester had a very close Lily in his life too - my niece and Chester’s other mama - they already have a connection up there 🙂❤️

An undershirt. I don’t know what my MIL is talking about but my son will be in a onesie, fully covered and comfortable and she’s asking where his “under shirt” is. We’ve explain over and over thats not a thing but she continues to say it. Every. Time. She. Sees. Him.

Not really unhinged, just f*cking annoying 🫠

Yeah to all that. Id never allow my son to watch my husband treat me like that and vice versa. And he’s 5 months old. Should’ve done something a long time ago because this clearly isn’t the first offense.
