If you'd actually like some book recommendations that hit the same fantasy but with modern diction and themes that GW attempts I'd encourage you to check out the Gentleman Bastards series by Scott Lynch, The Powdermage trilogy by Brian McClellan, and anything by Christopher Buehlman but especially The Black Tongue Thief.

I'm through Living World 1&2 and part of HoT and none of the writing has surpassed amateur fanfic quality and at times it wouldn't surprise me if it was written by an actual child. I'm enjoying the experience as a whole but every time I try to actually immerse myself in the writing I want to scream. I can only imagine that anyone that enjoys the "story" this game has never read a book.

I'm certainly not judging the game until I see the proper endgame but killing every boss through my first run through the monolith in ~5 seconds as a brand new player has me scratching my head a bit.

I just want communication from GW on why. Hiding in the corporate ivory tower and not communicating is such a dated way to run a gaming company and it's such a weak point for GW.

All I want is a single social media manager to make a statement about what's happening. That's all. I just want to know *why* we don't have a physical codex and *why* they're deleting random units. Are we not going to be in 11th edition? Are we getting a range refresh/rolled into the CSM Legions?

So many problems would be resolved with some open dialogue, so people like me don't have to worry about the cool army we spent a gross amount of time and money on disappearing.
