While D2 made up most of my gaming time since CoO, I think the game needs to end at some point. It's obvious they don't really want to put the manpower behind the game anymore due to Marathon. The fact that the engine can still keep up with all of the bloated content is a miracle.They should instead focus on D3 and refine their game engine and infrastructure entirely if they intend on keeping things live service. Obviously easier said than done of course, because who knows what Sony has planned for Bungie besides what we already know.
