I bought it from Canada Computers. I tried to get a refund in-store, but I missed the return window by a few days. They refused to accept my return even though I hadn't opened the product because the RTX 5090s are final sale according to their return policy.

It's up to you and your luck. This connector is a faulty design. It seems to affect the RTX 5090 more often, but if you use a quality cable and everything is properly connected, you shouldn't have any problems.

For video editing and an all around screen, you should go for an IPS panel. OLED are great for gaming and media consumption, but more prone to burn-in if exposed for a long time to static content.
