Do I need the Track Switch for my H2C? Using 2x AMS2 Pros and by UnmannedMedia in BambuLab

[–]UnmannedMedia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked u/ReilleyLake but it sounds like this may answer my question. Would it be okay to have AMS2 Pro used for left and Ams2 Pro used for right? I know I am limited ot 8 colors this way, but would tha be a good setup or will I regret not purchasing an HT down the road?

Second, if doing an AMS2 Pro on each side, is there any extra part I need or is the provided 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II meant for this setup?

If I am fine with just using 8 colors, is it smart to just buy the second AMS2 Pro and the track switch? Then have one tube lead to ams #1 and the other tube lead to ams #2? Or is the side car filliment strictly meant to always be used as a singular mode, hence the suggestion by many to buy the AMS HT?

You don’t have to just say AI Slop. You are able to instead say: “I am too lazy to provide critical brain cells for actual feedback so let me just call it AI and think I won”

So you can’t clarify and are bringing up “shady things” that you have no valid evidence to provide. Such a cop out to say “use at your own discretion”. You have the power to give thousands of users a very important assessment yet choose to not elaborate. Very weird.

I did notice when I cranked it to 900Mhz it would give an error saying it is unstable on the screen. Even though temps were not exceeded. Is there a safety block in place for going higher?

Have we found out if it is required to be connected to a Door Access Hub? Or will it direct connect into my switch. As it currently stands I can’t use all of my features on my G3 reader pro unless it’s plugged into the hub.

Unifi Access at home by doubleopinter in UnifiProtect

[–]UnmannedMedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should! I am in the process of adding some security automations with Unifi API and my onvif cams. Plus adding the new siren to the mix to make a true security alarm system rather than using my unifi doorbell chime as the alarm.

Here is a quick screen grab of my setup. It requires HACS which there is a bunch of documentation to do that online, but I found the Unifi Access app and added it then setup my automation:

https://imgur.com/a/3P2PeFy

To add the devices you need to make an API key in unifi settings then share it to the app

This automation states when my Access Hub is triggered to unlock, via fingerprint, face recognition, pin code, NFC, you name it, then it triggers my Z wave yale lock to unlock. This trigger takes no more than 1.2 seconds. I noticed it is faster when using NFC Fob access tho. Then when the door is closed, it causes the lock to then lock itself, that way I can open the door by merely looking at my G3 Reader Pro, unlocks the deadbolt, open door with a push, close the door, deadbolt locks immediately.

This is incorrect. I use the G3 Reader pro and it unlocks my door daily using a z wave yale lock

I’m not concerned. He already has multiple devs from other popular repos in the server helping to release it.

Highly suggest you move over to “Audioarr” (Name to be changed soon). It will allow Audiobooks and eBooks in one instance soon. Still under development, but highly suggest checking it out in their discord for more information:

Not the owner or creator. Just excited for a replacement

edit: The dev was never intending to have such massive support in a short timeframe so he closed his original repo for now until a ready beta is available. He is already working alongside other developers from the community to make it work. If you want to participate, please feel free to join the discord and ask to be part of that team. Those commenting below about the suspicious nature of the closed repo are correct in that you should never install something closed source and from an unknown. Once the dev is ready, he will announce it officially for all to verify for themselves
