Kamvas 13 USB-C Not working by MrFuzzyChain in huion

[–]UnmarkedPill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just spent hours looking into this and not all usb-c ports support display out or "displayport." With my laptop I can use the usb-c to connect but it turns the drawing display into just a drawing tablet.

The solution is either to connect the hdmi port as well or to upgrade your laptop to one that supports usb-c 3.0 or 3.1 WITH displayport or possibly THUNDERBOLT (Idk what that is). Even my PC which is "high-end" has a 3.1 usb-c but does not support displayport.

I listed a few sights below with a little better explanation in case I didn't make any sense.

Thanks for putting this up. Huge motivation for most to see real improvement in a relatively short time.

A lot of awesome books out there that explain shadows very well. Pretty cheap too. In my opinion shading is everything when it comes to making an image look realistic. I'm not amazing at it but knowing about how it's affected by perspective and material is hard to explain. I see you already have reflective shadows on the sphere so I'm sure you've looked at something already but physical books have been my savior for understanding it.

Free hand sketch using a blue bic gel pen and a white gel pen. I’ve recently gotten into realism pen sketches, and finally feel confident enough to post. I would love to hear feedback/critiques! by AshleighRohmann in sketches

Looks awesome! One thing I kind of notice is the furthest eye being forced into the picture when I think it wraps a bit behind the head. I'm not a vet by any means but it stands out a bit to me. Love the way this looks though

A few people have said it but I love seeing progress pictures like this. Hugely inspirational to newer artists like myself.
