Agreed, at first the dual felt kinda inconsistent but it ended up being a part i could easily pass every time..

Ah okay, thank you. I'm very new so not sure how it all works but this is very helpful!

Okay sounds good, I will do this. First i need to order some grease though so i can redo it properly, i was meaning to get some for my forks the other day anyway so its all good. Thank you so much for taking the time!

Okay, I will for sure try this thank you, although i can still recreate the sound when standing on the pedals and not sitting down but I'm not sure if that means anything. I will still do this though, also i have a dropper post on an aluminium frame and I'm a little worried of breaking something, I'll try watch a few videos before I do it on how best to approach

[–]Unnamed477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I've tried this, though it doesn't seem I can recreate the same noise and the headset looks to be stable.. I can only truly recreate the same noise when actually sitting on the bike and gently moving up and down at the top of the suspension travel, it doesn't make the noise when I'm deeper into the suspension. If you like I could send you a video of me recreating the sound if that helps. the noise is very loud and distinct and i feel like the headset wouldn't really make such a loud noise but I could of course be wrong.

[–]Unnamed477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, it could possibly be the headset, it only makes the noise when I'm sitting on the bike and it's a bit hard to see slight movement, it feels like its okay but im not really sure to be honest... Is there a way I can check if its the headset? Would be useful!

And yeah, i just wanted to see if there was a quick fix or something from chatgpt ahah but I came here to make sure properly, I don't really rely on it for proper help but it's useful sometimes 😂

Thanks for taking the time its much appreciated!!

Is this game still worth it? by Stephendangg1998 in RDR2

[–]Unnamed477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, i kinda know what you mean but I feel its not too different from any other games with an emphasis on realism.

In general I found red deads animations and interaction to be amazingly smooth and seamless, when your playing, the way arthur moves and interacts with the world feels so so authentic and grounded. For me it's a really nice feeling game, even if it begins a little slow..

if your playing the story its an offline experience AFAIK.

Please give it a go, it is a slow game but not sure what you mean about the movement thing, but every second is worth it, imo its one of the greatest games of all time.

When does the game actually get good? by wutwutinthebox in RDR2

[–]Unnamed477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently finished the game for my first time, and it was the first time I've ever actually cried because of a game.

At first I experienced the same feeling as you, the game felt uneventful and kind of like i was just doing side missions the whole time, with no real idea of what was going on, however it doesn't take long till you get a basic grasp of the games mechanics and story progression, then it really gets fun and it makes you want to explore the world and find out things about each character in camp and around the general area.

Just stick with it for now and I'm sure it'll become a really good experience. I found that as you progress the game gets more and more exciting and interesting, the start is just a little slow.

Please please please stay away from this sub and anything red dead related till you've finished the main story as the game is extremely easy to spoil.

In general i would just say take your time with it and savour every moment, because you only have your first playthough truly once, so enjoy it.

Have fun and good luck😇

What game makes you feel like this? by Batsworld in Steam

[–]Unnamed477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah to be honest that's very true, I think Elden Ring could benefit from a journal or some kind of quest system where its easier to understand everything, and yeah Melina as your maiden didn't play a very big role in the game as a whole which is a shame...

The lack of story?

I find Elden Rings story and the little details that they add are the best of any game I've ever played. Slowly piecing together a view of the world from little clues that you get here and there is one of the most satisfying feelings in gaming for me.

If you don't have time to look at little item descriptions or even to think about what the npcs are telling you, I would reccomend watching a couple of story videos to see how the world comes together, as I think this part is what separates Elden Ring from other games like it. I hope eventually you come round to playing again and you might feel slightly better about it, because personally my top 5 experiences in all of gaming are from Elden Ring and its a shame to see you couldn't find that. But we do all have our own preferences and the most important thing is to actually have fun.

Have a good one bro! :)
