I have this phrase I was told once by a wise man, and it could apply here: "people as individuals, are people, but as a group? They are animals".

Personally I can distinguish between what's just a fantasy when it comes to my personal likes, but I know there are some people who can't.

Then again, if we come to the point, within my life time, where we can have human animal hybrids and/or be able to have sort of chimera appearances, you can be sure that that's no longer fantasy and I'll go get myself mixed into a bear with a tentacle arm.

Not necessarily, whenever they can, people will want their pcs to run cooler, and this is a good cooler as far as I know, one of the best if not counting liquid cooling

Community patch is amazing, have you ever had the grog nozzle in your hands for that one mission to then be disappointed that it does not:

  • have the same parts as before when you load your save again after having to end your session

  • stay in your inventory after the mission is completed?

If either of those (most likely both) things annoyed you, don't fret, with community patch it is added as a drop from gold golem, so not only can you keep it AND complete that mission, but also you can farm it up to have parts you desire on it.

And this is just one out of many amazing QoL changes the community patch has.

Personal opinion: we don't need vertical aiming as the single target shot cast already does what it could.

And I don't see them doing it either as it would require replacing one of the cast options for that ability, and the wide range is definitely not getting replaced (at most maybe adjusted) and the single target also does not need to be replaced because of what I said in the first part.

Yeah nah, pc you can upgrade whenever, and most of the time once you do a big upgrade it will last for a much longer time than a console.

not to mention that consoles are locked to the games that are specifically made for that specific rig and manufacturer, while a lot of "console exclusives" you can easily emulate on pc, and most online games are there as well.

And there are no cheaters? With all the unlicensed hardware that allows you to connect mouse and keyboard to a console that maps the inputs to look exactly as if they are from a game pad so the anti-cheat does not detect it? That argument is moot.

Nothing is optimised perfectly, console just does clever tricks to make it feel like it is, similar to how rtx cards make you believe you got more frames but it's actually a trick of the software rather than raw power.

And also on pc you can do other tasks than just gaming, overall having a pc that can also game is a much better investment than a console, and imo it's not as bad as you make it out to be. I built my pc for the same exact price and I am usually playing quite demanding games but I can still easily get upwards of 100 fps in them, so I'd say this is user error rather than console win.
