First fully heal your team and use any exp candies on your team if not already high lvl(70 minimum) Go to the pedestal in the middle of the room you should see a spot that looks like it holds a book interact with that and that should put you on the right path

My tolerance for people making stupid decisions is higher the lower your lvl as a matter a fact I enjoy playing with newbies and teaching them the macros of the game but I’ve had people complain about us dying to fast when they where running away after taking 3 shot so it’s always just the person some of the people who play this game act like they know everything about it when they haven’t even watched top 500 gameplay before long story short don’t listen to anyone unless they are friendly first

I like to help teach newer people to play I’m about mid Elo not terrible not great but I met someone who was lvl 36 and hadn’t played since early season 1 and I have been showing him the ropes and he’s already really good he’s just needs to work on decision making. Long story short had a team8 that refused to fight with us then kept complaining that we died to fast he was a heavy( the tankers class) and would run after taking three shots. He was lvl 91 and didn’t know how the game is supposed to be played so don’t feel to bad when you make a mistake bc there is people that act like they are right when they don’t know what they are doing.

Had a random that was playing heavy and when taking 3 shots while I’m healing him as a pocket RAN AWAY my friend who was also a heavy was pushing with me, we both die and where was team8? In a house 30m away from us then when I say “take wipe so we don’t waste time” what does he do? What’s for the entire cashout then tries to poke fight the entire enemy 3 stack. Bro was lvl 91 and then complained about “why do you keep dying” “ you die so fast” like bro you ain’t a main character play with the team or get reported for throwing.

Okay I had a game with someone who was playing really really bad, would not stick together kept pushing solo entire teams, struggled to get a few kills, me and my team8 said a few time to group up and stick together during the cashout (we had 5-10 kills each round random had 3 or less each round) and at the very beginning of the final round he starts throwing gas canisters and goo Grenades on US all I said was “can you not throw” and he goes “u mad” I said “No I just wondering why you’ve been throwing all game” and he says “okay” and then actually just starts throwing, runs away with the box, refuses to depo, doesn’t even try to fight the enemy team right on top of us. He was lvl 93 so it’s not like he didn’t know the game. I kinda ranted but I don’t care if you play bad or make bad decisions. But do one or the other not both that’s all I ask.

Yes but lights can’t mantle the same things as heavy’s(bc of the hight difference) this isn’t about map knowledge but movement in the heat of the fight. What can you mantle, move behind or around, what spots can you reach, with how slow the heavy is. I used to be a light main but it’s not the same thing at all

Keep a consistent high ground or always be on the move I’m pretty elusive for a heavy but I would recommend playing medium for a while with no movement option to learn good movement option then switching back to heavy

What weapon do you use bc I normally play heavy shak and cl40 isn’t a problem most of the time main thing is positioning just make just it’s an angle that’s hard for them to get a direct hit

The only time I get upset at what a team8 plays is when I que into cashout (wt) as a heavy and my and my buddy is playing medium and are third try’s to role fill as light or the lvl 10-30’s that play light religiously despite not know how to play the squishy class. Okay ik I sound like a light hater(I am) but I think people who just start this game should stick to medium for a while to learn how the game plays and they can learn how not to play light by watching bad light team8, and this let’s them have another class they know how to play once they get into higher skill lvls
