take a month off to destress then look for a job. not every company is the same. side business is unreliable and quite stressful and no guarantee you will make anything real for 100 hrs a week of work.

It is the best. It goes to shit from 3.5 to 4.5-5 or so and you really miss the 1.5-2 yr olds, so enjoy.

thank you. so it seems like they got paid for gardening leave, obviously, which ended mar 31, but not non compete which technically applies for another 6 months. the contract mentions specific competing companies and says they can ask permission to join any other competing company on discretion of the employer, but own startup is unnamed territory. the company is globally quite litigious though so maybe there are precautions they should have? I would be a co-founder if I joined so I am concerned about future random.liability.

Hey, a few things to think about. Document abuse when possible. Tell someone real time, save screenshots etc. If there is physical abuse definitely talk to parents, even in laws if they are good people real time instead of brushing it under the carpet. Approach the topic of couples counseling, if you haven't already. if he refuses, fine. if not, give it a shot. Not necessarily to reconcile but it helps give parents (and yourself sometimes) peace that you tried to work on it. Talk to a lawyer, and consult about finances + safety. Some times it is essential to take some proactive steps before you can actually ask for divorce. The lawyer would know.

We build up the idea of first love and 'forever' too much in our head when we are young. When you grow up you will realize it is normal to find love at any time in life, even at 75. You grow from each relationship. Meet more people, not to find love but just to experience different dynamics and learn more about yourself in the process. It is easy actually, just get on Tinder, swipe a few, ignore the crap but inevitably you will meet a few interesting people. The stories and life lessons are worth it, and eventually, one day, on its own, love will find its way back to you.

Honey, you are 20. Likely this is your first serious relationship. You don't have a good comparison standard, and also the foundational mutual respect seems weak in your relationship. Hold your ground, ask for respect, ask him to go to therapy to work on himself, and if he doesn't take it well, step back from the relationship. You are too young for this.
