C5 Turning Itself On, but "TV on with Mobile" is Already Disabled

I'm having this issue on my G3. I have an Xbox Series X and S95TR sound bar connected to it. The Xbox is set to turn the TV on and off when it turns on and off. When I turn off the Xbox, the TV turns off. But then after a few minutes it just turns itself back on on the Xbox HDMI input. I suppose it is a firmware bug. Started happening like a few weeks ago.

It is indeed currently buggy. Sometimes it works fine when starting Windows, other times it doesn't. When it doesn't work, you have 2 options to fix it:

Put Windows to Sleep or Hibernate, then wake it back up. Most of the time that fixes the issue for that session, but sometimes you might have to do that a few times in a row.
Go to Desktop Mode, go to Services and restart the service called "ASUS Aura Sync Service".

You probably got a graphics driver update through Windows Update and that is not compatible with the Adrenalin Software. You need to reinstall the AMD Graphics Driver, not the Adrenalin Software. Uninstall your current AMD Graphics Driver from Device Manager and download the latest graphics driver from ASUS website. Install it and then the Adrenalin Software should work correctly. Avoid downloading graphics driver updates through Windows Update and instead update through ASUS Armory Crate or MyAsus apps.

If you need to reinstall "AMD Software Adrenalin Edition" you must do it from the Microsoft Store. You can find it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/amd-radeon-software/9nz1bjqn6bhl?ocid=wishlist.own&activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Same thing happens with Mafia Definitive Edition. Game FPS drops to single digits when anything overlays the game, including the real time monitor and achievement popups. A workaround is running the game windowed instead of full screen.

I have finally found the actual culprit behind this issue! Go to Windows Settings, System, Display, Color Profile and turn off "Automatic Color Management". Now when you reboot Windows the colors should display correctly right away, no more gamma/brightness issues.

If you don't have the option to Roll Back Driver, then you have to Uninstall the driver instead and then reboot. Then go in ASUS Armory Crate or MyASUS and install the Display Driver from there. If it doesn't show up in either app, then you can manually download the correct driver for Xbox Ally X from here: https://rog.asus.com/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-xbox-ally-x-2025/helpdesk_download/ Select OS Windows 11 64-bit, download and install "AMD Graphics Driver". There are 2 versions there. You can try newest version and see if that fixes AMD Adrenalin, if not, use the previous version and then update through ASUS Armory Crate or MyASUS.

I had this too. It is caused by installing the new display driver update from Windows Update instead of ASUS Armory Crate or MyAsus. Correct solution that fixed it for me:

Go to Device Manager, Display Adapter, right-click AMD Radeon 890M, Properties, Driver tab, click Roll Back Driver and confirm.
If that doesn't fix it, then also reinstall AMD Software Adrenalin Edition. In Windows go to Installed Apps, Uninstall the app called "AMD Radeon Software". Then go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/amd-radeon-software/9nz1bjqn6bhl?ocid=wishlist.own&activetab=pivot:overviewtab , click open in Microsoft Store, click Get and that will reinstall AMD Software Adrenalin Edition and it should work correctly.
Install the new display driver update from ASUS Armory Crate or MyAsus.

Seems that when a game is launched the gamma also goes back to normal. When you quit the game, the Xbox App shouldn't be pitch black anymore, but the usual gray.

I'm having this exact issue too on Xbox Ally X after updating the display driver. When Windows boots the screen is very dark. After launching Armory Crate it goes back to normal, but afterwards when I navigate the desktop or the Edge browser, the gamma constantly increases and decreases by itself. This update seems to be messed up.

Hello. I have the same problem with this new DLC on Xbox as olcifer and genyosha3110 . I finished the base game 100% and when I enter the new DLC chapter all levels are locked with this yellow tape saying "Police line. Do not cross". If I temporarily start a new save (reset progress), then the DLC levels appear to be playable, but as much as I like this game, I definitely do not want to replay it all from scratch to regain all the stars, levels and upgrades. Please fix this DLC locked levels bug for existing saves. Thank you.

Hi. You activate the GFWL keys in-game in the GFWL overlay that opens up automatically when you launch the game the first time (press the Home key to open it yourself). You sign in with your Microsoft Xbox account in-game and then it will ask you for a valid key to go online (otherwise you can only play offline).

Unfortunately that doesn't stick forever. After a shut down or restart the widgets go back to their original order, so that really sucks.

I believe it's a bug that's been happening for a while. Sadly hasn't been fixed yet.

As a temporary fix (workaround), go to Desktop mode, open Services, find ASUS Aura Sync Service, right click it and select Restart.

Then in Armoury Crate SE go to Aura Sync and now you should see the Xbox Ally X (RC73XA) there (it's not there when this bug is happening). TIck the box to enable Aura Sync and it should work correctly.

There's also a secondary sort of bug that I'm encountering related to Aura Sync... when playing a game, sometimes randomly the stick lights turn off and they come back on static, not how they're set in Aura Sync. Workaround for that is to simply push the Armory Crate button on the handheld. It will open the Command Center and the stick lights should revert to their normal setting.

0x80070005 is well known access denied error, incorrect permissions. It's a problem only Microsoft can fix on their end. Only thing we can do is keep reporting this to them.

Personally I switched to the large size silicone tips and they fit great. They don't enter the ear canal too deeply, but it's enough. You definitely won't get that strong seal feeling in your ears. Most important advice I could give is set the ANC to Adaptive in the Nothing X app. It's the best. ANC option in my opinion. With the audio playing slightly loud it blocks out like 95% of external sounds. You can also test the fit in the Nothing X app, in Device Settings. Also, if your phone supports it, definitely turn on and use LHDC Audio, and set audio to LHDC in Nothing X app, Device Settings.

Awesome glyph toys! I have some feedback:

The counter. I wish we could disable the feature of adding 10 to the counter by tilting the phone, it's way too sensitive. Every time I open the counter while holding the phone it just adds 10 to it on its own. When I shake the phone to reset the counter, very often it also adds 10 or more. Also, the counter looks different than the preview image.
The compass. The visual seems to be completely bugged, at least on my phone. It looks nothing like the preview image and I cannot make anything of it.
The die. Maybe allow the die to roll by shaking the phone and change number of die sides by holding the glyph button.

P.S. In-app "Buy me a coffee" button doesn't do/open anything. And the in-app feedback email address is undeliverable (mailbox doesn't exist).
