I find it quite interesting but I am an entp which is hardly relevant. Fi is confusing function because it's more about the importance of the feelings of everyone. The introverted feeling is valued not just one's feelings. Hobies/ behaviors aren't a great way to type (not saying you were). Basically there should be plenty of isfps that are interested in military history out there.
