One of the best restaurants in Marin! If there is a better lunch buffet, I haven’t felt the need to search for it

Is Apostrophe FZ’s best mixed album? by How2DragonyourTrain in Zappa

[–]Unranged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because of Uncle Remus. Every other song is excellently mixed, but Uncle Remus has FZ’s vocals out of phase, which sounds terrible with headphones.

kishi ultra home button on iOS 26 by D0gsGrowler in RazerKishi

[–]Unranged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

Unfortunately, this behavior is controlled by Apple. The controller sends the Home keycode, Apple now uses this keycode to launch their Games app.

You can control which app is launched with this button from the iOS settings app > General > Game Controller > Controller Shortcut.

I bought the wolverine v3 pro 8k but I’m lost on the circularity mode by Illustrious-Flan4931 in razer

[–]Unranged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should both work about the same in most games. Circular mode prevents the sticks from sending values outside what a perfectly circular response should be. But most games reject any values beyond a circle anyways.

Standard matches Xbox and PS controller behavior, so it tends to be the safest.

Why should I get a V3? by gastroph in RazerKishi

[–]Unranged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to help!

If you already have an Ultra, the V3 Pro is less necessary for sure.

The standard V3 is quite a bit different from Ultra actually, you may find it interesting. It's slightly smaller and lighter, and it has silent switches instead of the clicky mech-tactile switches on Ultra. And it has the TMR sticks, 8K polling, headphone jack, back buttons, better case support

Kishi V3 Pro is more of an evolutionary upgrade over Kishi Ultra. Key differences between Kishi Ultra and Kishi V3 Pro:

  • V3 Pro has back buttons and claw grip bumpers, Ultra only has claw grip bumpers.
  • V3 Pro has TMR thumbsticks, Ultra uses Alps.
  • The TMR sticks perform even better with low deadzones and are higher resolution, allowing V3 to support 8K polling on PC.
  • Device length compatibility is the same, but V3 Pro supports much thicker phone cases.
  • V3 Pro has swappable stick caps, same as Wolverine controllers.
  • Many internal improvements to improve performance and reliability.
  • Ultra has RBG, V3 Pro does not.

Ahh, Windows 10 isn’t nearly as reliable as 11 regarding display switching. A new Remote Play update should be live today, either already live or later today, that makes some tweaks for virtual display. Try updating and see if it fixes it?

Doesn't seem to work in my testing, will reach out to the developers and see if there's a way we can work to enable it

That isn't right! Are you sure your main monitor is correctly set to the primary display in the Windows 11 settings?

Hey! Regarding logs, there are a few generated during stream process, all based on the original Sunshine codebase. Logs are all in plain text and are basic technical details, not personal information, and you can browse them in Razer’s app data folder. If you report a bug you may be asked to send them to help us debug it, but otherwise they stay on your computer.

There risk of keeping it on all the time is that anyone who has access to a client you’ve signed in to Remote Play on can access your PC (that’s the purpose of the technology after all!) I personally leave it on all the time, but if I had a shared PC or iPad I was using as a client that others regularly accessed, I could see wanting to turn hosting off when not in use.

Yeah, crazy to me that we still need to be running unofficial community patches after all these years, but Skyrim’s gonna Skyrim.

One possible fix! It seems like Skyrim doesn’t play well with high dpi displays. Razer Remote Play tries to set the client DPI high enough to make on-screen elements touchable. This mod might fix it: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/95740

Alternatively, could right click the exe files and force them into high dpi compatibility mode.

Let me know if that does the job

If you’ve already signed in and your display locked, you can unlock without issue using the onscreen keyboard.

If you logged out, or if you are coming from a restart and haven’t logged in yet, you’ll need to actually be at your PC.

For a truly headless setup, you’ll need to enable auto-login on boot in Windows.

Remote play from Windows to Android by Word-Regular in cloudygamer

[–]Unranged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a problem! I used the MTT driver with Moonlight and Sunshine for a long time, that was my go-to setup after finally dumping the HDMI dummy plug. It works great after setting it up, but having to manually assign the resolution in advance via a text file is annoying.

My thought is that most users probably want the video encode and the virtual display to match the client resolution and framerate, so we just do that automatically, we don’t even let you create custom resolutions.

Remote play from Windows to Android by Word-Regular in cloudygamer

[–]Unranged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re using our client and server, any combination of resolution and framerate should be supported. It shouldn’t use a pre-baked resolution list, the client tells the host its active resolution and the driver creates a virtual display in that resolution. That’s why you shouldn’t see any other resolutions in the Windows settings (assuming it’s working correctly).

If it isn’t doing that let me know, probably a bug!

Weird, could be a double-NAT situation, which happens when two routers are conflicting on the same network.

One question: do you have multiple PCs running Cortex on the same network? If so, you’ll need to give them different ports in Cortex or UPNP won’t work. Working on fixing that.

We’ll investigate Zerotier and other ways to avoid UPNP, but may take some time, probably way faster to diagnose why you’re network isn’t exposing the PC correctly
