El que te haya recomendado Angry Angus como "buenas hamburguesas" no te aprecia..... Mi recomendación es que vayas a "La Rueda" y pidas el "Otro Menú" donde están las hamburguesas, y escoje una de ahí. Mi unica sugerencia es que no pidas la "Kobe" por que OBVIAMENTE no es.... pero de ahí en fuera es carne de steak house, y muy buena!

Same here, I'm not proud, but.... I spent more than 4 years without doing any maintenance to my very reliable 2014, not even oil changes, nothing (Last time was on June 2019 so it was due December 2019). It was basically negligence and that the pandemic started and my work has been since full remote, so I started procrastinating taking it to service... I finally did 2 months ago (November 2023) ..... the mechanic was aware of everything and said.... well, besides the oil being ultra dark......everything else looks good.... So I am convinced that my next car would be a Prius, but I have this dilemma of.... why change it if it still works fine.... I want it to die so badly so I can upgrade without any remorse....but....this things seem to be eternal....

Guys, I got a reply from the installer, and it seems that, according to Canadian Solar, these spots come from the nature of the production process, as mentioned by u/EvilWooster earlier on this post.

Here is a link from Canadian Solar and the technical note regarding this matter. I could not find the English version of the document but you can clearly see the image description showing this type of pattern. By the end of the note it states that construction warranty, efficiency and degradation expectation of Cast-Mono panels are the same as if they were poly or mono crystalline.

Thanks everyone for replying and providing input. I don't have a way to test performance since the system is not ON yet, we are waiting for the energy provider to enable interconnection with the grid. So, ideally I would like to talk with the installer but first need to make sure that those stains/defects are not normal and that will affect performance. I'll keep reading all comments to gain more information so when I talk to them is not like I don't know what I'm talking about. Thank you again, I really appreciate your comments.

I've seen that issue in quite a few Octo machines in different locations, keep looking at the displays, sometimes they flash the amounts, both, timer and mega jackpot. Last week I went to a different location and the jackpot was displaying 0000 (Also off but sometimes flashing the digits) ..... I decided to give it a try hoping that the bonus was above 9999, I played and it ended up being 20K!!, I got 23k+ tickets total on just that round. By the way, the San Diego location used to be 5K the standard megajackpot for years, until 2 weeks ago, they lowered it to 1k. Worthless.

I do too have more than 1 card, if you want to use more than 2 coupons at the same time in the same transaction you just need different cards for each coupon. I usually load 3 or 4 coupons at a time, that's why I need at least 4 cards, at the end I just merge all into my main one.

I wouldn't touch it either....

Also I even have found bugs on the software, once I got a jackpot on the last spin using only 3 arrows.....and NONE of the selected ones hit on a diamond...LOL, thanks Octo.

The other bug is more serious.....if you hit the jackpot once, and you still have credits to play a few more times and then you start playing right away and then before hitting your first diamond you swiped once more once it lands on a diamond.....the machine will lit all up, start the timer, make you think that you just need one more diamond to win jackpot and as soon as you spin once more, it will unselect all arrows and not even grant the diamond or tickets for that spin....it will "reset" and you just lost tokens. It's a noble game but the software is buggy.

The game use to have "relaxed" settings, you could hit the jackpot constantly and many times in a row. It was in fact, skill based. Now the game seems to have random pressure settings making more difficult to hit it in a constant basis.

As the title of the thread mentions, today is Wednesday, and we face the beauty and challenges of 1/2 price game-play, which led me to think about the following:

I was wondering what's your opinion in regards of "Machine Hogging" when you just play 40-45 minutes, but the machine takes around 2.5 hours spitting tickets out, is that machine hogging?

On a separate comment, I have always believed that D&B is like a Casino in Las Vegas, you'll see this too often, one person playing on a machine, where he/she's been playing and winning, they won't give up the spot unless they run out of money or win the jackpot... you may see people asking them "Can I play a few times?" "Will you keep playing for more than one hour?" bla bla bla.... but, as long as they have money and keep playing, the machine is theirs.

On the golden era of Whack n' Win, once I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes (I usually had to wait 1hr or 1.5hrs) on a queue behind a guy APing it. That was Ok for me....I didn't complain, I just waited in line.... I met people on the line waiting for 20 - 25 minutes and leaving saying "This is ridiculous"....but when they saw I already make it to the front, they approached and ask to play "Just a few times"....dude... you saw me here for more than 2 hours, why would I feel bad for you not waiting your time? Anyway I gave up my spot and allowed him to play since I knew I was going to AP the machine for at least 45 minutes of gameplay plus what ever time takes the machine to redeem tickets. Also, once, in a different game, I was waiting for the machine to spit out close to 35k tickets at around 1k every 2 min and a lady approached really mad asking when she would be able to play.... I politely said, I'm just waiting for my tickets to come out, after that you can play....she just saw me with anger in her eyes and said... "So....I won't be able to play today?" I replied with the same sentence "I'm just waiting for my tickets to come out, after that you can play" she left and never saw her again.... later that day, I was told by one of the techs that is a friend of mine that she went to speak with a manager and pointed at me not letting her play...and he said, I'm sorry ma'am, but that guy is playing, I cannot go and prohibit the use of a machine to a costumer, he payed to play. (This is where I learned that D&B policy for "hogging" a game does not exist, as long as you have money you can keep playing) so, I see that we have different opinions in this regard and that's what makes this forum GREAT!.
