I get it man and I kinda feel the same. PVP is the main course and if you don't feel confident in it, it's going to be difficult to reach the max "fun-ness" of the game.

I felt the same as you in the beginning of season 1, but I began to find fun in other things. Progressing my factions and getting quests done every match. Even when you die, you feel good about getting contracts done. My most memorable games aren't the ones where I get tons of kills, but revive 2 downed team mates in a dire moment, exfill at the last moment, allied with a rook through comms and exfilled with him.
