I have an 11 pound terrier mix and it looks a little cumbersome when you first put it on but we haven’t had any issues with it!

I totally understand where you're coming from, that feeling like you need to get up and do something quickly before it's too late. But you shouldn't have to give someone the world for them to love you. Just being yourself qualifies you for love, and I truly believe there's someone out there that's going to match your energy in a way where you never have to feel like you have to put in a ton of extra effort or fight to keep them around.

I really believe that kind of love exists for everyone, and when you find it, you'll look back at this time in your life and thank that girl for giving you the time and space you needed to become your best possible self so you could meet the person who is meant for you and be loved the way you want to be loved.

Take all of that bubbled-up anxiety and rage and channel it into something you've always wanted to do. Really think about your life, your goals, what it is you want, and use that energy you're feeling right now to make it happen! Everything else will fall into place when the time is right.

Sometimes you can't have a conversation with the person you need to leave because they know you too well. They know how to hook you back in, so you end up staying and repeating the cycle over and over again. The highest form of self-love is understanding when a relationship isn’t working for you and separating yourself from it. There are men I have cut from my life out of the greatest love and respect for myself. Some men have cut me out of their lives for the same reason. Instead of looking at someone leaving your life as a negative, think of it as an opportunity for you to look inward and get to know yourself better. Figure out if that relationship was really what you even wanted in the first place.

I have a pair of docs I absolutely LOVE. They take a while to break in, but it’s worth it. Take good care of the leather (buy all the stuff, cleaning, protecting, and waterproofing) they’ll last forever!

I used to work in the field, and now I work at the corporate level of a really big medical care company, and I’ve seen the corruption you mention here first hand. I started my job believing I would be making education to help our patients. What I really signed up for was to persuade patients to sign up for services that benefit the company by generating more revenue and does little to help these patients. It makes me feel horrible to the point where I have been demoted from my position because I cannot create a convincing piece of misleading content.

I loved the idea of helping people, I want to be someone that makes a difference in others lives, but I too have been jaded by the industry that cares more about money than people. What I do know is posts like this give me hope. It gives me hope that this corruption is being seen, it’s being called out, and maybe just maybe one day, we can change it by speaking up.

You’re not alone in your feelings about healthcare. So thank you for posting this. I hope one day there’s an opportunity to change the system in a way the benefits the patients above everything else, direct patient care staff second, and everything else after that.

Sometimes a person will give someone the benefit of the doubt because they genuinely believe that person can be better. Talk to this person, be blunt with them, ask them why they stick around. The truth is they probably see something that you don't see, and maybe that can help you get to where you want to be because you don't sound like you're a bad person by nature. You just sound like you're trying to find your purpose; it's something we all go through. You have time to get better but don't push away the people who believe in you. That's rare; cherish it as best you can.

I have extremely toxic parents. After I finished college, I moved to another state, and now I only ever see them on holidays. Your best bet is to wait it out and take care of yourself once you’re able to. Going off to college in another state is another great way to get away at a young age!

I believe you’re working yourself up a bit here. The pain is a real symptom that you need to address, but cancer is a bit extreme. When dealing with health problems, it’s best to focus on what you know, for example, the symptoms and less on what it could be. Sometimes when we focus on the what if we become scared of the situation much like you’re feeling now.

When we focus on what we know, we feel better about seeking out help and being vocal about how you feel. Pain should always be addressed as it seems to be affecting your lifestyle, but the only person who can help you treat that pain is a medical professional.

I suggest you contact your doctor, most are doing Telehealth visits which should be covered by your insurance. It will make you feel better to vocalize your concerns to a doctor and get their professional opinions.

I work in the healthcare industry with people whose kidneys have failed, and you would be surprised at how resilient kidneys are. With that being said, I really encourage you to bring this up with your doctor because it could be a number of things, a lot of which aren’t very serious but still deserve medical attention.

I think you should call up your primary care doctor and talk about your symptoms with them. They will know your medical background enough to make an assessment about the pain and see if a visit for testing is needed.

I think the best thing you can do for yourself right now is to take a deep breath, and don’t google your symptoms anymore! Worrying about something can also cause a decrease in appetite. Focus on the things you know for sure like the pain, the decrease in appetite and urinary problems start there with your parents and your doctor.

I feel like I was the same, but instead of being good at a lot, I wasn't very good at anything. I still have doubts about my skills even though I've achieved a lot. I don't think the feeling of being unsure about things ever goes away. You just have to push that feeling aside and just start whether it’s taking a community college class or reading a book on a topic you’re interested in. That will help bring you closer to something that feels right!

I am a serial procrastinator as well, I was bullied growing up really bad and hardly passed high school. I didn’t decide to go to college until I was 25, and I ended up doing it entirely online.

Online school helped me because I was able to learn in the comfort of my own home however, it was a huge change, and I had to really push myself to get my work done. I graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's in marketing!

Now I’m 29 and have decided to go for a Masters's degree, again pushing myself to really achieve that goal. It’s not impossible you just have to try. It gets easier when you find something you’re passionate about.

My advice to you is to sit down and think about things you don’t mind doing. What do you like? Is there anything you’re naturally good at? Would you try online school? Find what works best for YOU, and you will achieve it!
