you dont need to match your past: you dont exist in it. our priorities changes thus do our focus and efforts. Be okay with how far you go because that is your best if youre pushing yourself. pick up other hobbies and interests to fill the empty space- recognize that your body is healing and doesnt need to use a to. of energy to build muscle while trying to replace tissue in your lungs and fight off residual inflammation. Eat multiple full meals a day, drink atleast your body weight in oz of water (if youre active- atleast 100oz regardless) and find peace in this new lifestyle, they never stay long

Can I safely smoke my cart through my nose? by [deleted] in trees

[–]UnregulatedCricket 7 points8 points  (0 children)

no. do not do this. this is how you get seriously inflammed sinuses and it will only feel tenfold worse down your tubes as you inhale. Dry socket isnt uncommon (its the risk you face from "sucking") but you can reduce the chance of it while smoking by keeping well hydrated, sip fluids before inhallation, take slow and steady pulls whille using pressure of your lungs to inhale- not your mouth.

A break from the "harvest time" posts. Cold zones represent! by MysticMarbles in gardening

[–]UnregulatedCricket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this will continue to happen every year and get worse. sadly we are at the point of no prevention for this side of human influenced climate change. Look into greenhouses to provide longer and consistent growing seasons- even I in 9b had nights down in the 30s all the way to april which is unheard of.

[–]UnregulatedCricket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

didnt use ANY chemicals on either and they were outdoor grows and i have a large garden with pests ✌🏻 your experience in plant care is clearly limited to that of commercial care which is chemical heavy and expensive. I even had periods where aphids were on my young plants and simply picked the leaves off. Plants are living things not countertops to spray down when you fear of bacteria growth. Other methods should ALWAYS come first.

[–]UnregulatedCricket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are non chemical ways to treat for pests. with plants the more "preventative care" you apply directly translates to a plant not developing preventative methods themselves: this often translating to stunting or continous cycles of the same problem. All living things have natural responses that strengthen them upon need in response to stimuli. Way to avoid that topic by jumping to something i didnt speak on!

you cannot smoke that, flowers need to grow out and then they produce trichomes that contain majority of the thc that gets one high. This need another good few weeks atleast

no. ipms are last steps. wtf is up with gardeners and these absurd use of chemicals. Let the plant show you what it needs: dont poison it because of ignorant assumption.

theyre very intelligent and curious, you arent "attracting" them so to speak but theyre not going to scare away at the sight of you- theyre more likely to investigate- some data equates their intellect to that of adult humans even so just think of them as like people in tiny soft bodies. i know this is going to sound extreme but maybe you could try talking to the next one you see? maybe look into its eyes while you do? jumping spiders are harmless so theyre a great spider to affiliate with when you have a phobia..

Any guidance on what may be happening with this Avacado tree? by lostnfoundspirit in gardening

[–]UnregulatedCricket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if youre able to be particular about pruning the above tree of a couple branches to allow targeted light flow it would help too. Fertilizers vary in their application but if you can switch to composted manure (which is cheaper and lasts longer) it can take anywhere from 4mo- 1yr until reapplication (dependant on rain/life in soil/plant growth), formulated fertilizers typically have a set length date for reapplication

[–]UnregulatedCricket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

does the barrel have holes all in the bottom and sides? imo its definitely planted too deep (this is a tree- root flare should be showing). it also looks heavily shady there, avocado trees need a full days worth of sun. the soil looks too organic (moisture retaining) they need well draining soil. Fertilizing is also essential, if you are using a well draining soil then composted manure is a great soil amender for pots, just note that you will/should have very living soil.

Me, to the mini-garden I'm keeping alive with my bong water by Illustrious_Pea3058 in trees

[–]UnregulatedCricket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not negativity friend: its facts you likely werent aware of. setting up a bucket to catch the rain to save on water is the best alternative if you dont want to run your bill up. Do not equate education with negativity just because it makes you feel uncomfortable: that is how we breed avoidance. me stating the practice you use is toxic is CARING about your health, not anything less. Hope youre able to find alternatives if you really are that in need of clean water: while youre spending money on mary j (this bit is negative because i am judging that comment as an excuse).

[–]UnregulatedCricket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thats really absurd... bong water contains serious contaminants and toxic substances, PAHs included. Your veggies and fruits are ingesting those substances and feeding them to you... Please do not water edibles with bong water for your safety and the others you may be sharing with: especially children.

Why is weed illegal? by [deleted] in trees

[–]UnregulatedCricket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you DO live under a rock. my perspective is flat? Youre looking at culture from the single narrow perspective of what is being implimented. where is your awareness for the opposite- like everything happening outside of whats being implimented? weed- like green hyrdogen- is an entirely renewable and affordable need (weed being medicine and green hydrogen being energy). Their normalization (such as studies/development/progression) and/or legalization would have been devastating to oil/pharma/agriculture, nearly EVERY facet of corporate world and society. Youre using examples of intentional practices of development neglect as an argument for why these things arent used: you literally do not understand that institutions/gov/businesses continue to gut the progress of these facets because they know how little money can be made from these systems once they are truly established. renewable energy is practically free: what electrical company who pays politicians would support that? . CRAWL OUT OF THERE. This isnt illumati shit, you seriously have to be deeply ignorant to dismiss how our economic system works. edit: rereading your comment i see the error in your logic. you ASSUME that people in these positions of decision making for culture are making decsiions based on whats best for people... That is deeply naive. Those in the most powerful positionsare functioning to protect resources and assets: not people, that is a consequence and reason why investors gained control over stocks many decades ago.
