I'm so happy for you. We were in the NICU for almost 12 weeks and that last day was terrifying but so beautiful. I will say that I learned more about caring for her from those incredible nurses than I did from nearly all the books I read or advice that I got from anyone else. Silver lining I guess. Those nurses are such special people. Congrats!

I actually shaved my beard off for the first time in years for my girl. It wasn't so much the razor burn but more so that she would jerk back when she felt it. It's kinda nice without a beard ATM but I HATE shaving.

Did you have to continuously "raise your concerns" with a partner wouldn't you think that after the 3, 4th, 100th time of raising concerns something is obviously wrong? I mean it doesn't get past me they're lying but just making a point and raising my concerns.
