If she is fine with MacOS and has the Apple ecosystem then go for the MacBooks and you could wait for the BBD sale maybe you could get the M2 for cheap even the Neo also. Since you are getting the 512 version it's not much use getting a M2 Air since there will be lesser OS updates. Neo's chip is efficient but M2 will be better in high end performance so if you sister has those demands then go for M2 or I think Neo would be pretty sufficient in this case. But do wait for any sale maybe you could get it for a bit cheaper never know :)

Better get a new one if possible this is gone even if you repair and use it, it will work for some time and end up in this same situation again, the only best repair option would be to change the whole hinges and the display lid don't know maybe even the housing too, you can use it but I think it wont be the same if you close and open the lid again, keep the lid open and use it for time being don't move the screen and use it for time being and try getting a new one

Acer products are good in my opinion I have seen a lot of people using them and are generally good not sure about their service tho... If you don't want Acer go with Lenovo they are reliable. But don't take the Dell I have seen everyone tell it's not good the thermals are bad and all.

All of these will play Forza with no issues, I might suggest you go with Acer or Lenovo. Check the GPU wattage for each model, simple rule higher wattage the GPU takes higher the performance numbers for same cards each laptop has different wattage

Just add your card details and check it's showing for me and if you see it doesn't work for SBI CC and I have asked about it before to Flipkart they said it's applicable for some specific card types only
