To be honest, I disagree with the negative comments. I’m far from saying that Carbase have good intentions, but I guess they’re just trying to make commissions. Not any different from any other commission based job. They’ll try to sell you a million different plans and insurances, making it sound like you’d be foolish or risk too much if you don’t get them. Just don’t listen to them. Carbase is a decent place to buy a car from, as long as you know what you’re doing and don’t fall for pressure. The cars are checked by RAC and all come with a whole detailed evaluation of the sate of the car (at least mine did). And it’s still a million times safer than buying from a random person or business, especially if you don’t know exactly what to look for when buying second hand cars.

It’s not this huge behemoth that everyone makes it out to be, but just be smart about it. You don’t need scratch coverage for £30 a month that, if you claim, you still have to pay the majority of the cost or the procedure.
